Wow! What a wonderful way to end a story! Inuyasha+Kagome+Irini= Happily ever after!!
This story was always one of my favorites, I don't know how many times I read it. Drama, romance, complication, conflict, secrets, decisions, heartbreak.... just a cocktail of wonder. I had the thought that it was already finished with everyone having there own happy ending, the wedding was being prepared, Inu fixing up a house, then it be like, 'you can imagine the rest.' I thought it was a really sweet ending, and I love Irini! She's so adorable. Well that's another one for the shelf. Look forward to more! Happy New Year InuGrrrl!!! ;)
DaGrrrl says: Awww, thank you very much! I probably could have stopped at the second chapter of the second epilogue, but that would have felt incomplete to me. I wanted to give them one more day to plan, and be together, and really show that they're all one big happy family now. Plus, I wanted Sango and Kagome to become friends, so now I feel like I've bid it a proper farewell. It was the least I could do for my longest fanfic to date. :)

I don't usually read stuff that isn't IK, but I do like to test the waters from time to time, and I found this one very interesting. It was sweet to see Inuyasha develop feelings for Kaede, even thought there was about a 20 year difference between them. It kind of makes me think of your other stories The Edge of Seventeen and the Treasure in the Tide. I imagine your 'okaa-san' loved it like the rest of us.

I had to refresh myself on this story cause it's been so long, still one of my favorites. Now it's getting more intense. I still can't quite figure out what happened with Kagome and Kouga in the past, at least to make him want revenge so much, but that's the fun of a mystery. It's also great how things are building up with Kag and Inu, but I'm worried about the shit hitting the fan with both of them having secrets. What's gonna happen next? I hope to find out soon. No no no, don't run away Inu... God that's such a way to end it! I felt like crying on some parts. It was hard enough for him with the language barriers and all, now he's got the 'monster face' that scared Kagome, and just breaking his heart more. :'( Well, I can understand Kagome being scared, he just got a little too excited. The question is would he dare to come back, or would Kagome even try to look for him? Then there's the issue with Lupine, senior. I just know the next update will be worth the wait.

I always get so excited when you have a new chapter. It's good that Kagome calmed down after a while, no one can blame her for being scared. She didn't know what happened, and there isn't anyone that can explain it to her. Then poor Inuyasha, imagining him being just as lost, I felt my heart crush for him. He was only lucky he came at that moment to hear her. Sooooooo.... what's with the vase from the feudal era? Hope I get to find out soon. Sweet Dreams! ;)

Sesshomaru's behavior is no surprise, but I never would of expected something like this from Izayoi. Now she's only going to push her son further and further away if she keeps at it like this. I wander what Sango's reaction will be once Kagura tells her the truth about Kagome. Then there's Inuyasha and Kagome, I really love the way their relationship is starting up. I must admit, I was worried that you weren't going to continue this one, but I'm real happy that you did. I had to re-read it though since it's been so long, and I still loved it. Hell of a way to leave it off, too. Inuyasha and Kagome are trying to live their somewhat married life, Toga wants to end it, and now Sesshomaru's missing? That leaves so many questions on what's gonna happen next, but I'll save that for the next chapter. Wonderful as usual! ;)
