I hate to think why RT made canon vague enough that fans often doubt the feelings Inu had for Kagome.
I remember that in the 'Flower Prince' storyline, he thanked Kagome for being there to stop him from having to have to choose between them. That to me is a red flag.
I can't see what the point was in creating a lead FEMALE character that has obvious chemistry with him (they laughed together, cried together, fight together) is there to support him, has been his rock, is devoted and most importantly- that relationship is based on a strong developing friendship and trust. Something that was never mentioned with him and Kikyou. Even if I/K ended up together, the emotions were hardly clear. Sure Japanese culture is a lot more reserved and there were small hints that classified them as an item (holding hands, longing looks, etc.) but as a fan I felt cheated. Because I could easily identify with the 'normal' teenage girl and I wanted the her to find happiness and succeed. Having him state that he was relieved sounded like he was still confused, and that irritated the hell out of me!
I never understood it.
I'm glad his feelings for her are clear in THIS story. :)

I agree with Kagome on her making InuYasha seem worse then he really was. And her friends just jumped to poor conclusions too!
Kinda remind's me of the second Bridget Jones movie, where all the women in jail share their stories about the abusive men in their lives and Bridget finally realizes that she let a good one go.
And it was all because of her own insecurities and the influence of her well-meaning friends. XD

It would make sense for Kagome to 'feel' his emotions, especially when she's with Hakudoshi. I guess InuYasha was more worried about saving an innocent child, than to stop and think about the possibilities and how she could effect him in the future...

Whoa...you where right, I don't EVER want to be in Hakudoshi's shoes or InuYasha's for that matter.
I feel like this chapter was emotionally involving; I could FEEL InuYasha go madly insane (literally), his rage, his devastation. Amazing...
I wonder how Sesshomaru feels having to restrain his little bro. Must hurt, especially how much he loves him.
(My favorite thing about the InuGrrrl world is how much love exists between the siblings(KoR)! XD
And Haku is still alive right?! I've grown attached, I'm afraid!
And by the way--‘his usual confidence non-existent as his wings wilted like dying flowers, flowers without light.’ Gorgeous simile.

This was THE most fun to write, and yes, definitely emotional. I tried to make his descent into madness feel really desperate. Like, it\'s finally hitting him that she will NEVER be his, no matter what he does. There\'s zero chance since he\'s up there and she\'s down there. So losing her is a hard blow, but literally watching himself lose her made him snap. I just love this InuYasha; he\'s really fun.
And this is, by far, my favorite Sesshomaru that I\'ve written. He can be the disciplinarian, yet he still has a soft, compassion spot for the people he holds dear. He\'s a great big brother -but he does have his flaws. I would say that... he sometimes loves too much and will do anything to protect those who are allowed the honor. >.> You\'ll see that in chapters yet to be written.

It's interesting to see how confident Sesshomaru is about cleaning Kagome's memory when she clearly remembers what InuYasha said in latin.
Hmmmm...
Also it's so sad how InuYasha still pines over 'his human' and can't even bring himself to regret what happened. His shame and inner turmoil hits home because everyone has felt this way about something in some point in their lives.
And lastly, again, the bound between the brothers is beautifully portrayed. Sess has some mighty 'halos' to go and face the Lord!

Ok, so I admit...the part with Kikyou was pretty sad. *Sigh*
But I still can't bring myself to like her! (It's all about Higurashi in my book)
Rin and Sesshomaru are awesome together! I usually don't root for these two because when I think about canon, it feels off but again, this is fanfiction, and I think certain authors can pull this one off the right way! ;)
As for InuYasha, I swear I was crying! What gives angels? Isn't God all about love? Let the guy just love! He can't even meet this girl! LET HIM LOVE!!!!!

Also, the video I sent you, I sent out of love. I feel that it's hard to come across good fanfiction and as fans you try to keep the passion alive through creativity. But it makes me mad when people mock it with intentional malice. I remember reading a 'fanfiction' a few years ago that was two sentences long and absolutely offensive. Eww.

And I totally wasn\'t offended. I guess after going through what I did, for as long as I did, I\'m prone to avoiding any public fun-pokage, even if it\'s harmless. What we think is funny or no harm done can be extremely hurtful to someone else. I was never the type to flame or ridicule anyone\'s work. I may have shared what I like or don\'t like about specific fics with friends in privacy, but never in public. It\'s just something ingrained in me after multiple years of harassment by my so-called peers (and it still goes on). But again, I wasn\'t upset about it at all. <33
