I was reading this thread on reddit about a mommy with a blind child and I started feeling depressed, wondering what if it were me or what if I was blind etc. I needed a serious pick me up. This story is perfect because even though its absolutely heart-wrenching and tear inducing when she rejects him (I'm overly emotional after reading the other article), it has a nice and sweet ending.

Da Grrrl Says: I totally understand. Losing one\'s sight must be wretched, and as someone who is very myopic, I worry about my eyes a lot. I wrote this so long ago, but it was my testament to the power of love and how it can, and should, overcome even the hardest challenges. Kagome was a fool at first, but she had to learn about what was most important on her own. She did, and in the end, she benefited greatly by finding a wonderful man to share her life with. We can only hope that everyone else gets such a great happy ending. :)

Finally finished rereading it! Just a questions, what happened to the note naraku put in inuyashas locker? And what happened to naraku? Also, how on earth do you keep up with all your stories? You have so many different plots going on!

Chapter 13. Gotta love when sesshomarou finds a way to come in the plot!

Chapter 12. Horse? Carriage? What year is this roundabout? When I read chapter 13 I thought it might've been the feudal era up until the end when (boom!) a call was placed. 19th century to early 20th perhaps? I shall continue reading.

Chapter 11. Starting to see where koga came from. Inuyasha beast mode engage! Must get to the bottom of why he talks like that! Sesshomarou is around, yet inuyasha was left to fend for himself with his pet wolf in the forest after his mother died?

Chapter 10. The man involved with the hunters? I wonder if he is referring to them because they are just wolves or due to another reason. I hate matchmakers. Hate them. Starting to connect the dots backwards here haha.

I'm going to have to come back tomorrow and read the rest. I'm so tired after work that I'm reading things wrong. The last straw was when I read "how are you faring?" As " how are you farting?". Yup, that's my que to go to sleep and rest hahaha.

2. I deliberately didn't give a time frame (I do that so I'm not confined to a specific period and way of doing things), but you're on the right track.

3. Why who talks like what? InuYasha? For the full explanation, you'll need to start at the beginning. :) Also, Sesshomaru hasn't appeared in this story yet, so we don't know his background at all. But if you look at the canon, where he really was around, his presence made no difference because InuYasha still grew up in a forest alone. lol.

this, was the worst cliffhanger i've ever read!! Sesshomarou is one of my favourite characters in this story (and in general!!) and you leaving us with this ending and the possibility of no updates any time soon is making me bite my nails!

And you know what the crazy thing is?

A few days earlier i was watching this tv show "Strange addictions" or something similar and the lady on that episode was addicted to eating her dead husband's ashes!!! I know this isnt happening here but the image of her licking the ashes came to my mind after reading the end!

Happy 10 years!!! I have to say, I thought you'd forgotten this story. It's been such a long time. I hope you are well! I'm so happy you updated, even though I have significantly reduced my time reading fanfiction online, your stories are always great to read.

I'm going back and rereading some of my favorite stories of yours and this one is H O T!! But, at the same time is so sweet and heartwarming. Their brotherhood is great and you really surprised me at the end of it, although its a good surprise. It's one of my staple stories that I reread often:)

Happy 9nth birthday Inugrrrl!!!! I'm so glad you are still writing fanfics. I think i might've been reading Harry potter fanfics around this time, which helped me discover the fanfiction world and Inuyasha fanfics! Seems so far away now but it brings some sweet memories back. Jakotsu is adorable here, i feel sorry for him because he will have to be very patient with Bankotsu. And wow, Inuyasha can seem like having multiple personalities, what with how he behaves around his parents are in school. I hated this type of person back in highschool. BUT, since it's Inu, i still love him and wish for him to get together with Kagome. Light Yagami is a creep and I do love how you portray him here. Thanks for updating this story, i love it. How are you grrrl? I hope you are well in all aspects of your life.
