I had mixed feelings reading this entire story. Obviously, one being how Inuyasha wasn't paired with Kagome, but I got over that quickly. Kaede as his love interest this time was truly... Interesting and unique to say in the least. And the pain and beauty of just a forbidden relationship through age is very nice. I got teary on parts and I truly felt sorry for Kaede when she hurt Inuyasha. I'm blabbering... xD Very well done once again. I LOVED it.
Author's Response: Thanks. ^^ This story is really different in terms of characters and age. I wrote this for my adopted mom and that's the pairing she wanted, so I wrote it as well as I could. I wanted a true love story with all of the ups and downs, and not just something I tossed together, so the positive response it's gotten has been wonderful. It's nice to know that my readers are willing to give everything I pen a chance. :)

For the love of God... I literally took nearly six hours to read all ten chapters and maybe two tissue boxes for my tears after I was done. :( This by far is my favorite. How tragic for Kagome to not be able to conceive children... I completely understand her pain for that. I, too, am unable to conceive, so when reading this, it brought back some memories. But... I am so glad she was able to fight through her pain and adopt Jaden... ^_^ You never cease to amaze me, InuGrrrl. I loved it.

Reading this... I felt oddly jealous that it wasn't Kagome, however, I did enjoy how Inuyasha was able to find that he is able to love another if Kagome were to never return. It was a very tender story and I enjoyed it immensely. Well done. :)

I feel that Kagome is the one for InuYasha, but I also liked the idea of him finding happiness if she couldn't come back. But really, the moral was that even if he and Isis were distracted by their circumstances, knowing one another gave them each more faith in their love for Kagome and Joaquin. So, in the end, while they have a special place in one another's heart, they belong with their true loves. :) So bittersweet! *sniff sniff*

I admit, I was teary-eyed towards the end. It's very tragic Inuyasha had to die and I would have wanted to know how he did pass on, but it was a beautifully written piece nonetheless. Well done.
