The Lost Samaritan.
I’ve noticed that since I got wordpress I’m more bloggy than usual. Well, fuck it! 😛
Tonight I wtched The Lost Samaritan, one of those Ian Somerhalder films I mentioned in my last post. I feel like someone beat me over the head for nearly two hours with a block of suck, lol. I love “Boone” and I drooled the entire time he was on the screen, but holy shit, that movie was terrible. Talk about plotholes big enough to FALL in. What was worse was the really, extraordinarily bad acting. Ian was okay, but the others… I have to wonder if they’ve ever been in anything before -or since. It like… hurt to watch. >.<
The premise was that an accountant ends up saving some guy in a traffic accudent, and from there, he becomes the target of these assassins. Words cannnot express how awful this film is. It makes me feel bad, too, because I love Ian. He was great as Boone and The Rules of Attraction looks like it’s going to be pretty good, but this… Well, let’s just say that I’m glad I’m not one of these people that will throw a person away based on one bad go ’round. I’m still going to watch the other 2 movies I downloaded and hope for the best.
That aside, with the right fillers (for that empty plot), I can probably make this movie into a pretty decent fanfic, lol.

Is that the one where the dude is talking to some guy, and the guy is trying to hide a gun with a big ass silencer behind his back, and the first dude doesn’t see it for some reason?
I’m telling you… Behind The Mask…

YES!!!!! The first dude is Ian Somerhalder. OMG, Danga, that was awful. >.< I was kinda stunned at how bad it was. That gun was bigger than that guy’s hand and he still didn’t see it? o.O And the acting… oh man. I forgot to download Behind The Mask. I’ll get it today. I was (shut up) downloading Mariah Carey’s discography, so I was a little busy. 😀

LMAO!! NO way really? seriously bad acting? *giggles* Gotta love those! I’m all excited to see it now. *winks* I enjoy renting movies with the awful acting for the giggles I can get. (I remember seeing on Spike so many years ago where they made ‘Previews/movie summaries’ using chimps. Did Die Hard. The scene where Bruce Willis had the gun taped to his back and when he ripped it off strips of fur came with it and that was how the Bad guy was done in.)
Maybe you’ll enjoy the semi-good acting of Twitlight? *waggles brow*
Saw Lake Placid 2 and Never ever in my life (and my following of Wildlife/Technology) had I ever seen a fully automatic, rapid fire, mega clip included….. Tranq Gun!! (It can lock on target by itself – just point and fire) And explosions that went off when there was none or silent explosions.
Plot Holes big enough to fall in? Yea.. sounds like Twitlight.
Speaking of movies my friend he saw Slumdog Millionaire and he told me about it. Sounds so intense, graphic and shocking. He warned me about the escape through the outhouse scene/get autograph scene.
I recommend ‘The Host’ to watch. It’s really good. It’s a monster movie. Done in South Korea.. (tries to remember) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Host_(film) there you go! Some info on it. (don’t confuse with *gag* SMeyer’s The Host. )

Yeah… Sometimes insomnia sucks…

Hey! Just dropping in to say that I really like this layout and that I HATE it when there are holes in a movie’s plot… and then the credits roll and you sit there like, “WTF????!”. I watched a movie like that and I was so mad that I had just wasted like 2 hours of my life. -.-
Anyway… I really like this song? Who is it? You need one of those boxes on ED too that tells you what song your listening to cause I’m am offically jealous of your itunes library! hehe. Lovies! 😀
Friday, 20 March, 2009 at 17:13
Wow. Just kidding I found the box on this site for the songs. *face to palm* lol.
Friday, 20 March, 2009 at 17:43
LOL! You’re hilarious. 😛
Yesh, on this one, I have a box with song titles and stuff.

JENNNNNNNNNNNN! <3
Welcome to B.R.! I needed a new home, so I’m glad you like it. I’m planning on getting more layouts, but I’m lazy right now. 😛
That movie SUCKED. I was so mad because I love Ian Somerhalder (that boy is FIRE hot) and I just knew it was going to be the shit. NOT. It had the worst plot and the acting was cringe-worthy. But… I forgive him (cause he;s FIRE hot!). 😀
And don’t you mean Absolution? lol. ED doesn’t play music because it’s a public site and not everyone will want to hear it. Absolution, well, I used to put up the name and artist, but I guess I stopped. 😛 Maybe I’ll start again…

Tell me about it. Then when I fall asleep, I have to get up 2 hours later for work. WTH?
Friday, 20 March, 2009 at 18:15
Twitlight? LOL. I’m still dying over those pics with the sparkles, lol. I’m still amazed at how fast that book series got everywhere. I had only heard the name in passing, then suddenly, little girls all over the globe were acting a fool.
I’ve never seen Lake Placid, and though I have Slumdog, I haven’t watched it yet (if you want it, let me know and I’ll link you). But it won a bunch of awards, so I’ll give it a shot. I like Indian films anyway. My friend, Keiko, is always giving me the hook up with Indian music and stuff like that. There’s even a bollywood movie that I wanted to make into a Miroku/Sango fanfic. So, I’m expecting it to be decent, at the very least.
The Lost Samaritan is really garbage. There’s no other way to describe it. It had potential, but when you have 2 guys running around killing people and you NEVER find out why, or what their deal really was in any way I’d call that a major plot hole. I’ve never heard of The Host; I may have to check that one out. I’m still due to watch Audition, which is years old at this point. I bought it on DVD and never opened it and that was at least 3 years ago, lol. Gah. I have a few movies sitting in my house like that. They say it’s pretty wild, though, so we’ll see. They make crazy shit in Japan, so I’m bracing myself.

LOL You are being extraordinarily “bloggy”, but it’s so shiny and new, you have to make use of it. I’ve not seen that film, but I’m sure it will probably be on one of the movie channels sooner or later. This late at night, I’m always watching something crap like WonderWoman or Quantum Leap. For a while, you know, I actually started thinking Scott Bakula was cute. *blushes*
Friday, 20 March, 2009 at 23:54
OMG, that totally warrants a beating, lol. Scott Bacula is AWFUL! I’m not even sure how he keeps getting work. 😛 I saw this game magazine once and they were pissed over his Star Trek show and they said that issue of the mag was “baculized for your protection”. I think I about died!
And yesh, so bloggy lately. It’s more than newness, though. It’s also feeling free in my own space. I’m just not going to ever be completely comfy on anyone else’s site, you know? I like having my own everything, that way, if anything vanishes it’s because I did it.

Oh duh! Absolution! Gah. Well then. Now that I can’t remember what site is what… lol. I saw that picture you posted of Ian S-whatever-his-last-name-was… and he’s gorgeous. You weren’t kidding. Fuck. I’d see a movie with him even it is sucked just to stare at him. lol. Speaking of movies… have you seen Role Models or Zack and Miri Make a Porno? Cause I definatly watched them both last night and I was giggling like an idiot so if you want a quick giggle you can always watch those two! hehe. Well! I’m off to write a research paper… -.- tasty. lol.

I knew I wasn’t alone. Ian-boy is HAWT. I just wish >.> his movie wasn’t so effin’ terrible! And yush, Absolution. I have so many that they get confused all the time. So just look at it this way I hardly post anything to ED. When you wanna read, it’s the other one. 😛
I haven’t seen those movies, but Role Model looks really cute and funny. I’m sure I can get a download of it, too. So I just may have to watch them this weekend. 😀
Good luck with the paper!
