Motherfuckin’ Hump Day!
It’s hump day and I haven’t posted anything for public consumption in a while, so here -the fuck- we go! 😀
Okay, let’s start by not ignoring the 800 lb. elephant in the room. Some things have gone down at Eternal Destiny recently, and while I won’t get into the details, I’ll just say that my mods and I stand by our decision and the reasons behind it. At the end of the day, ED is my website. Michiko and I built it. I maintain it, I pay for it, and along with the help of a few awesome volunteers, I run it. All that I ask of the members is that they respect the staff and follow site rules. I don’t think that’s unreasonable, therefore, those that can’t seem to do that are not welcome there. It’s really that simple. The End.
Now, onto other stuff! 😀
My friend, Kau, just got back from Japan a few days ago and sent me a bunch of stuff -like a case of Hello Kitty miniature figurines. OMG. They’re so fucking cute! I need to get pics for you guys. Squee. I also got some InuYasha stuff (that I didn’t have!) and a couple of other things that I won’t mention here since it’s an inside joke between us. >.>
Did you know that they have all of these weird-flavored kit kats there? She sent me so many kinds. @_@ Strawberry (Tastes like strong strawberry quik), Soy Sauce (which tastes like maple), Espresso Coffee, Apple, Bean Paste (which tastes kind of nutty), Grape (Tastes like wine. Blech!), Cookie (Totally yummy), Green Tea -it’s wild. I haven’t tried them all yet, but I have plenty left. I wonder why they don’t sell them here. Maybe it’s because kit kats are not a big deal here. Anyway, it’s been interesting. Thanks, Kau! ^_^
I finally picked up my doujinshi that I ordered. They were $25 per book (I bought 5), and they’re all in Japanese, but the art is awfully cute. I’ve never bothered to buy them before, but I can see why people like them so much. And no, hentai. They’re not porn. 😛 I also put in another order to Notoes for a new doll that will represent one of my fictions. That woman, I tell you, she’s quite the awesome. Very talented, but more importantly, really nice and accommodating. It’s a pleasure buying stuff from her and that’s why I’m a repeat customer.
Work has been kicking my ass, and on top of that, my allergy meds are sucking the life out of me. I’m constantly tired when I take them and it’s been an energy zapper. It has affected my writing, which sucks since I was getting a lot done. I’m off today, so I’ll be here catching up on everything around me. My “aunt” is visiting, too, so that put me in rare form last night. I was far less patient and much bitchier than I normally am, and when you add how I get when I’m tired… Yeah. It was best to just leave me alone. For real. I’m better today, though, and look forward to working on new skins and ordering the prizes for ED’s contest.
Lawd. Kau just told me her car is dead on the side of the road. >.< I need to talk her out of kau-icide. Lata!

Hell yeah I’m going to post his pic. 😀 I told her I wanted it around the mid june since my anni is the 16th. Hopefully, I’ll have it in hand by the time I post the first chapter of the new story, which would be too cute, lol.
The strawberry is good, but it’s so strong in flavor that it reminds me a tiny bit of penicillin. >.> The grape is like, otherworldly nasty. >.< The smell, the taste, ACK. But if you like wine, you may like it. I made limpy eat them. 😛 My friend found some for sale on ebay, but they looked like the small ones, which are even smaller than the fun size in America. o.O
Now write, darn ya! The 22nd will be upon us soon and I’ll have to force you to relax. *cracks whip*

OMG, limpy!! XD The poor guy…don’t mind the crip too much! I’m going to be one in a little over two weeks, too, and you just KNOW I’m cashing in on all of that coddle time I dealt Hubby when he was down after his knee surgery!
Penicillin? *gags* Okay, maybe the strawberry isn’t the way to go. I like wine, but I don’t know about wine-flavored candy…. *gags some more*

Yea, I still can’t wrap my mind around the fact that so much drama happens in cyberspace. People you might never see face to face can give you such headaches.
I can only imagine what you had to say in these password protected posts, but as always try not to let crap get you down. I can’t say that I am immersed in any “fandom” enough that I have to deal with that stuff from people like you do. I guess for the most part I just try to be a casual reader!

But seriously, I know there has been some chatter, and while I’m not going to indulge gossipers, I’m not going to act like I was wrong for what I did because I wasn’t. Lines were crossed and someone had to go, and it damn sure wasn’t going to be any of us. ED is a small site with less than 200 contributing authors and a bit over 2750 members. I haven’t had an ongoing issue with anyone else, and yet, problems kept arising with that one person? It was bound to end up here; this person just accelerated the process.
Yesh, another goodie from Notoes and wait until you find out what it is! WOO HOO! We’re working out the details now and then I should have it in hand by mid June in time for my 4th anniversary (as an IY writer, that is). I saw the pics of the OYKB dollies -so cute and funny! “Obscene tail”. LMAO. I can’t tell you how much that still cracks me up -then to see it in action. *diez*
The meds have me screwed. I keep waking up at 4am and not being able to get back to sleep. It’s not so bad because it gives me more time to prepare for work, but when I can’t keep my eyes open at 7pm, that’s when I know something has to give! I want to see Star Trek tonight (1:30am showing), but I don’t think I’ll be able to stay awake for it!
I’m going to get a pic of the hello kittys and candies from my friend. My digi cam broke and I still haven’t bought another one yet. But she sent pics before I got the stuff so I’ll post some here. 😀

And you’re right; these are people you’ll never meet, or have any dealings with outside of “fandom” and yet, they have the ability to be some of the most annoying people on the planet. Go fig.
The pw-protected posts were created because I have little spies and minions that like to poke around my blog. Looking for what? I don’t know, so I lock posts that I think they shouldn’t get to view. It allows my inner circle to speak freely without worrying about anyone trying to create wank.
You know what? I started as a rabid reader and I wish I had stayed one. Because the moment I picked up a pen… lol.

You know, I had no idea it was actually a TV show until recently! Heheh… Those are some crazy flavours. I’ve seen strawberry and mint in the shops but never any of those.
