And the Awesome Keeps Coming!!!
My Onna-mom (you know her as inuyashaloverr) got a commission done for me as an early Xmas present. She loves my story Money, Power, Respect (I haven’t updated it in so long >.<) and wanted to give me an InuYasha that resembled him. The end product?

Isn’t it pretty? I love the eyes! Onna is also making a Human Yasha for me herself, and I can’t wait to see that one when it’s all done. It will be GORGEOUS. It’s one of those ones where his eyes are shielded and it’s all about hair and profile. SQUEE. Totally counting the seconds with that one. 😀
As the world knows by now, my Yankees won the World Series last night, and let me tell you, I haven’t felt this good in a while! Not only did I get to see my team make it to #27 and give our “Boss” another well-deserved win, but I get to see the naysayers eat a big fucking plate of CROW. I remember over at my LJ community, someone started talking smack to me because they didn’t like my avatar (InuYasha wearing a Yankee cap) and they said the Yankees would choke in the post season.
Yeah, we’re choking alright. We’re choking on #27 in our new ballpark.
Tell me that’s not the most awesome shit in the world? Breaking in the best stadium in America with our 27th World Series victory? I’m going to savor this moment for a long ass time. There will be a parade for them tomorrow and I may even go because I want to see my Arod. But even if I watch from TV, I couldn’t be prouder. The Yankees are the team of the decade. We opened the decade with a WS win and we’re closing it with one and everyone else can kneel and kiss the fucking ring. LOL.
That said, to celebrate my favorite team, I re-skinned Eternal Destiny just for this occasion. I used the art Rinoa gifted me for my story “Loved” and made a layout called “Yankee Universe”. It will remain the default skin until December, and of course, will be available as a regular skin on the homepage menu.

I was thinking of you last night when my husband goes to ask me who won the game and I was like “Dude! It was the Yankees!” to which he replies “Ahhh SHIT!”. Good stuff Good stuff.
I love being on winning side of the cheering! That picture looks really cool! I’m gonna have to go check out the new skin at E.D.

Thanks, girl! Remember the guy that barely knows me, yet felt comfortable enough to make a crack about my Yankee avatar on CD a few months back? The Red Sox fan? Yeah, well he strikes again with an “amusing” little end note about my Yankee wallpaper and InuYasha wearing red so he’s a red sux fan. *shakes head* You know, why do people think they can just get familiar with me like that? I don’t know him at all, and he obviously doesn’t know me or he would have never gone there. He sent me a note beforehand congratulating me on the Yankee win, but it was a preemptive strike, obviously.
Why do people not know how to behave when they’re in someone’s house? I’m not the type of person that will just approach someone -jokingly or not- about opposing stuff. It’s not in my nature and most Yankee fans are that way. But not Red Sux fans (with the exception of Lina). They can’t keep their mouths shut even when no one is speaking to them.
And the art! Well, Onna strikes again! She had one made for Knife of Romance and wait til you see it! It inspired a new chapter, too, so get ready. 😀

Am!!!
The parade was wicked. I didn’t go, but I watched it on the YES network and it was awesome. Everyone was there and I saw my Arod and your Tex! They looked like they were having so much fun. 😀 I’m very, VERY proud of my boys. It’s been 9 years and they both opened and closed this decade with World Series wins -now that is BOSS!
And more art is coming!! Onna had a pic done for The Knife of Romance and it’s soo pretty. Yasha looks delish (when you see it you’ll know why!). It’s got me ready to write!

My Lily!!!!!
The only thing that bugs me about the art is that when I resize it for posting the face and everything seems to really shrink. Like, even in that pic I cropped out most of the background and it’s still massive. >.< Almost like it’s all BG and a small Yash, so when I make the pic smaller, his features shrink. I’ll need to show you the full pic in e-mail so you can see the details. Onna had another one done by her for KOR and it’s the same thing, Loads of BG, and a shrinking Yasha, but it’s still nice. You’ll like it much, but when I shrink it you won’t see his eyes every well, which, again, are the best feature.
And shankies!!! I’m so proud of my Yanks -I totally had to wallpaper ED. Though, I have someone there that is a Blo Sux fan who couldn’t resist saying something smart. I expected it, but still. how about behaving accordingly when you’re a guest in someone’s house? ::eyeroll:: But his bakaism isn’t going to deter my mood. GO YANKS!! 😀

What got me is that a message was sent to you at LJ when it’s well known that you don’t go there but for Comms and B-Days now for the longest time now and not/also to your ED email. Things that make you go hmmmm. My eyebrow arched up on that one.
Well, I was honest with him when I left him a review. Told him ‘you may have meant it one way but it’s coming across more like you are a sore loser’. *snorts* he says he was disappointed. *shakes head* I’m sorry that he was unhappy because I was honest to him about how it appeared.
I saw the comments back for that avie and that didn’t feel like playful teasing honestly there either.
