Insanity Gets Younger
So, here’s the latest from bizarro world.
Why did I just find out that my cuzzie is being stalked by a kid at her school? From Friday to Sunday, he sent her 32 text messages, and when she wouldn’t respond or call back, he left 3 threatening voicemails, including one saying that he was going to kill her.
The family is furious.
There was a big meeting at her school, and apparently, a lot of the messages were suicidal-sounding. Dude, I don’t give a shit what you do, but you’re gonna do it by yourself. She’s not going with you. And yeah, that may sound callous, but I don’t care. He threatened her life and that’s the fucking line.
We were pissed at her, too, cause she didn’t tell anyone it was happening. She told the people at her school because she thought we’d all be mad at her. We’re like o_O what kinda logic is that? What we’re mad at is the fact that she didn’t tell us it was happening. This fucking nut could have followed her home!
I’m so pissed.
On a good note, I posted a new chap of Hikari. Woot! 😀

Oh man Dx That’s terrible! I know if that were one of my nieces or cousins there’d be hell to pay…but at the same time, I can kind of understand things from your cousin’s point of view. When I was ten, I used to walk to the library by my building and one day, this guy sat down next to me and started asking me all sorts of questions. They seemed innocent at first until they started getting weird and he put a hand on my leg.
Three cops in my immediate family, and COUNTLESS lectures on what to do/not do about strangers coming up to me completely escaped my mind and I did all the wrong things because I was so scared. Instead of telling someone working at the library what was happening, or calling someone (my dad and brothers are pretty big and threatening…they would’ve done the trick xD) I ran out giving him the chance to chase after me…worse yet, I didn’t bother looking at his face, so whenever I thought I lost him after hiding behind a car or the back room of a store, he’d be right behind me…and he would’ve kept on chasing me if I hadn’t ran into a Rite-aid (I have asthma -.- No way I planned on running forever) and started yelling for one of the security guards, who held him off long enough for me to run home.
It was the scariest thing I ever thought could happen to me, and being that young and scared, I didn’t think…even afterward I was so scared to tell my family about it because a) I thought they’d get mad at me for forgetting everything they taught me and b) I thought they’d overreact. And I’m sure she felt similar getting those scary messages. You can be all sorts of prepared for situations like that, but common sense is the first thing to go out the window. I know NOW because of what happened to me how to react and stay calm in scary situations, but until something like this happens, I don’t think anyone, especially a kid, can prepare for it.
The important thing is, she told someone before the situation had a chance to get REALLY out of hand, and that she’s okay. I’m sure she knows now (and knew already..she just wasn’t thinking clearly) that she has all of your support should something like this happen again…and hopefully it doesn’t and the kid is handled properly.
If he isn’t, I’ve got a Dad and four brothers you guys can borrow 😉

Sometimes kids (I don’t know how old your cuz is, so I’m using a general term) can’t understand that telling family is better than staying silent and dealing with it on their own, reguardless of parents or whatever getting mad. As long as she knows NOW that she can go to family (because who else can you really depend on) for this or any other type of situation.
I do hope that she is okay. It sounds like a pretty scary situation to keep to oneself.

Well Grrrl, sometimes that type of logic makes sense at the time (and I should know). I’m sorry that guy dragged your cousin into that psycho shit. Damn. Now that I really think about it, that shit mad crazy. I’m not exactly sure what I would do in your place but I know no harm would be coming to my cousin! Now, I see why you guys were upset about her not telling you; at first I was looking at it from her perspective. Anywho, I hope it gets resolved soon
Thank you for the new chapter on Hikari. I have yet to read it, but I’m headed there now. And guess what? I discovered a new love for Lena Park. Not sure if you’ve heard of her but I love the song Moon (Fall in Love). I’m pretty diverse in music so I get around lolz!!

ok.. that is just not something anyone needs to deal with.. get the girl a new phone, make sure the school is watching both, and give the girl some pepper spray… because that boy will be a problem even if you think you have all the bases covered.. and that pepper spray needs to be on her person not her purse…
But I hope you get it all taken care of… and tell her stay safe.. Goodie on the new chapter I have not had a chance to read it — I have a sick oldest one again and snow — so school is out to boot — makes for long days.. (o_0);

We’re really trippng off the whole thing. When I was first told yesterday, I thought it was 3-4 texts top. When I heard 32 between Friday and Sunday, each one getting more bizarre as we go along, I was fit to be tied! She just turned 18, he’s 17, and the things he was talking about sound completely suicidal, but the three voicemails were profanity-laced violence that made us want to say, “fuck it” aand go hunt the little bastard down. We’re keeping a close eye on this situation and taking precautions, but the issue is that pepper spray and stuff like that isn’t allowed in school. We didn’t even send her today. Iz so annoyed by it all. (-__-)
And the baby has the sickies again? Awww.
This season has really been getting her, huh? You’re gonna have to keep Little Miss Mae out of the line of fire or you’ll really get it! Hope she feels better. 😀

Yeah, she def. has unlimited Text, lol. I wasn’t even thinking about how that could have cost her! The weird shit? Most of them happened on Friday and Saturday, one behind the other, plus three threatening voicemails. The whole time, I’m asking myself, “Where the fuck was his mother during all this?” o_O Don’t people watch their kids anymore?! Argh.

She’s okay today. We kept her home, but yesterday she was pretty shaken up over it and I don’t blame her. What a little head case. She just turned 18, he’s 17, so it’s that age when we can’t take that as an idle threat (Really can’t brush it off at any age), with all of these school shootings and stuff like that. Plus, she travels over an hour to get to school, so we’re all a little jittery about him following her. I did pound it home that she has to tell us if anything like this happens again, though. I’m the “go to” relative for all the kids, so I told her, if you don’t want to tell mom, tell me, so that someone knows what’s going on. Sheesh. Kids are so silly these days!

*nods* Yeah, she really thought we were going to be mad at her and that just makes me shake my head. And it’s definitely crazy. We’re waiting to see what happens with his mother, but I don’t expect much. We just made it clear that we WILL be utilizing NYC’s stalker laws if she wants to get cute, not to mention, I’m not opposed to beating her down. For real.

Girl, your story freaked me out! I fucking SHUDDER at the thought of what could have happened to you! I’ll never understand that -why would anyone want to hurt kids when they’re the most defenseless. There are a lot of sick fucks in the world, let me tell you, and I’m so glad you were able to get some help and get home. I wish you had run straight to a precinct! And they definitely would have overreacted. LOL. They would have been right, too! *wags a finger at you*
My cuz just turned 18 and this slice of crazy is 17, and with all the killings in schools by students, we’re not taking any chances. The worst part is that she travels over an hour to school and we’re afraid that he’ll try to follow her home. His messages were so weird, too -stuff like:
“You and (some other kid I can’t remember) hate me, you want me gone.”
“You have to call me or text me. You have to help me stop this negativity.”
“My class hates me. You all hate me and want me to go away.”
“Only you can end this and make me positive.”
“You better call me or send me a message.”
“You’re all liars. None of you want me around. You all hate me.”
I can’t remember them all, but take that, then add more bat-shit to it and you have the other 20-something messages. The voicemail was full of muffled curses with stuff like “I’m gonna beat your fucking ass” and “Fucking bitch, I’m gonna kill you.” and I’m like, oh man. Let’s just go GET this motherfucker. So we’re a “wait and see” stage, but honestly? We’re not shy about confrontation and we’re already planning to show our faces out there so they understand that we’re not kidding.
But keep that posse on standby! xD

All I can say right now is I understand exactly where she is coming from. I know exactly how she feels and what is going through her mind. I understand her terror very clearly. The sense of overwhleming halpless and being cornered.

Insanity has no age. He needs his ass handed to him! I would beat the shit of out someone if that happen to someone I love. I mean that’s just crazy I hope they do something about him, he needs help or ass kicking. Were they friends? How did he even get her number? Well at least she okay. But I really get pissed just at the idea of someone hurting what’s mine, be it family or friend.Some people aren’t meant to fucked with just like some games aren’t meant to be played. He better learn that.
On a nice note how are you? Nice to see your on top of some fics. I read ‘Loved’ You always put me in this “What happens next?” mood lol.
