LOL! Okay…I was hoping you’d do one of these. I feel bad, but the squeeing most deff couldn’t be helped.
And YEEESSSSSSSS!!!! They gave us a real treat! I didn’t expect it so early in the episode!! So cute! And then they gave Houjo a girl and Kouga…the ball and chain xD Still, THAT scene when they showed him running to the well had me BAWLING! Same with the Mama/Kagome one! You could actually hear her voice breaking!
It was BEAUTIFUL! I’ve replayed it so many times now. Even hooked my computer up to my tv for it. So not a disappointment when I really thought it would be!
And yes. He was born for her ;p I don’t care if it wasn’t in the manga (like some people are complaining)…WE GOT THIS. *takes it and squees into oblivion*

Girl, I’m still so amped. I never saw that kiss coming. I just knew we were going to get screwed out of it, but the anime team delivered. That’s why I’m SO GLAD they’re allowed to take a few liberties, or we’d never get shit. And who’s complaining about the kiss? Geez, screw that -they need their heads examined. Did any true I/K fan want it to end without one??? Pfft. Fuck that noise.
It was nice and early and at the PERFECT moment. When he drew back and looked at her, my breath just hitched cause I knew it was coming. THEN, BAMMMMMM!!!!! A sweet, long, LOVE kiss.

I’m still squeeing, albeit quietly now. I’m so happy, Nik. I love the anime team. They really came through for us and I was praying for it. Back when I did that big rant about the Kikyou kiss *grumbles* I said I’d stop all purchases if they fucked us over, but Vi has re-established my faith. Thank GOD they understand that the importance of giving the fans what they want to see. Viz and the crew want to sell DVDs and they’re already starting a new round of toys; if they want them sold they need happy fans. It’s as simple as that. So kudos to them for giving us the closure they realized we needed.
As for the episode itself, I’m VERY satisfied. Seeing InuYasha do battle like that really made me remember why I do love Canon InuYasha even though I’ll always write AU. He’s simply amazing and I’m SO happy my cousin gave me that trading card 5 years ago. He’s brought a lot of awesome to my life. The kiss? OMG. I cheer every time I think about it. The way they looked at each other and the way he just pulls her to him. GAH GAH GAH GAAAAAAH!!!! I’m so happy -best episode EVER. “And I was born for her.” Will be ED’s new tagline -right now!!

I got all weepy-eyed ang girly for the last couple of scenes. When he reached down into the well to lift her out, that’s when I almost lost it. And the, “I was born for her,” line – almost lost it there too.

I really didn’t think they’d do it either! And then I heard somewhere that we did get it, but I figured it’d happen when he pulled her from the well…but it was PERFECT when it happened. I must’ve paused and rewinded on that part a million times xD And the roof is gonna need some fixing because I pretty much squeed it off (my neighbors must be pretty ‘o.0′ right now xD)
We got close-ups and eeeeeeverything!! But really, my second favorite part had to be Houjo mackin’ on that girl. I loved that they added tiny closures like that. And all of it animated made the ending so special. It was beast cute seeing Miroku and Sango’s kids (when the twins kicked their legs over each other and attacked Inu’s ears…so precious!!!)
Viz gave us a real treat (so I’ll excuse the shadiness, lol). This has my mood skyrocketing, too. I wasn’t kidding about exciting myself to the point of headache xD I had to go on a tylenol run…but it was MORE than worth it! Totally gonna love on this ending for days to come 😀

Agreed! The Anime Team made up for all the Sit abuse and character slaughtering they did. It was beautiful… and the way he said her name as they kissed! SQUEEEEEE *spazzs out* This I can happily say am thrilled I lost the bet!! Oh goodness…. I have this link faved!

The anime team made up for all my anger and disappoint, especially with the earlier eps. When he said “I was born for her”, I started to cry -I’m so sappy with that shit, lol. The kiss? I was BAWLING by then. The anime team are demigods in my book. They knew what we needed to see and we got the closure that we, as fans that have invested time and money, deserved.

YESH! The closures are what did it for me. I loved seeing everyone have their own happy endings. I also loved that they gave the Sess/Rin crowd something. The whole “So she can choose” was a nice touch. They couldn’t suggest loli AT ALL, but they did leave it open enough to interpret that Rin would be able to grow up and decide if she wanted to be with Sesshomaru and I like that (even though I liked Sess/Kagura).
The close ups of the kiss. Gosh, I was SCREAMING by then. No lie. Screaming and slamming my fist on the desk repeatedly. I’m gulping coffee now because my throat is completely raw. lol. I posted the screenshot to Abi for a bit. 😀 I had to do it because we finally have vindication and closure, you know? I’m so fucking happy -it totally makes up for all of the shade. And it makes up for cheap-ass RT and the crappy, no kiss ending she laid on us after so many years of supporting her ass. >.>

Oh yeah, a whole new explosion of kiss pics and fics, lol. But I’m going to do what I did the first time around -not reading them! It was a wonder that I even wrote my ode to the last chapter -then again, that was for you and Chanda. I was shocked when it took first place (you know they hate a Grrrl in that guild) but it made me feel pretty happy that I was able to give the manga my own send off. I won’t be doing that again, though.

I don’t have trading card anymore, but that’s how I met InuYasha. I was given a Sesshomaru trading card. Then a week later, I saw “I hate having to wait and I hate the smell of you!” I instantly fell in love with the hanyou in that second and it’s been all about him ever since. I’ve never, nor will I ever, invest as much of my time, money, and self into anything like this again. LOL.
I felt so warm for Naraku. I really did. When he said he felt peace, it kinda sums up that while he was evil, he was never evil to the insane point that the jewel made him; he was suffering in his own way. The Kikyou death kiss, could have lived without that, but that was for her fans, so… *pushes her out of my head before the bitch ruins my high*

We FINALLY got it!!! The whole episode was totally amazing! I cried and smiled and just went all over the place!! It was totally wonderful!! They had something for everyone. I’m glad they ended the Sess/Kag argument once and for all. They threw the Sess/Rin folks a huge bone and pretty much said what the deal was and even Kouga got some love. Yes, I would have loved it to be more drawn out but I was pleased with what we got. I’m still a manga girl at heart so I’ll get my detail fix that way but *BIG SIGH*
I love the idea of the contest and I have to put my thinking cap on to come up with something to do the awesome line justice. Inuyasha made me love him all over again!!! *faints*

I knoooooow!! I was so happy, girl. I was screaming (scared my cat), crying, slamming my fist on the desk… it was all that and a bag of fucking chips. For realz! And yes -they gave everyone closure and that’s what makes the anime people the best. They knew what we needed to see (plus, they wanna sell these dvds and shit when they come out >.>) so they fed the masses as it should be!
And lawd. The Sess/Kags issue is DEAD DEAD DEAD!!!!! Kagome married InuYasha and we have the muthfuckin’ floor! 😀 (Yeah, I’m acting up now!) I’m very satisfied with the ending; the kiss is what we needed for closure, and we got that, so we’re just as happy as pigs in shit. LMAO. I hope you do the contest! I’m hoping the members get into the spirit of things and submit some cute canon fics (miracle that I’m going there when I’m an AU Grrrl, but hey, it fits the occasion!)

Fuck you Kikyou he’s 100% hers! At long last! I’ve been going around singing and dancing for like 36 hours! If you knew me this would amuse you greatly for I am not the singing and dancing type ; ) But right now I could be freaking Fred Astaire!
I keep mumbling to myself “he did it” “he did it!”!
When he grabs her and just plants it on her…. OH my sweet LORD!
Anyway I’m just glad there are people out there who are as thrilled about it as I am!
And thank god for capitalism and marketing and people wanting to sell their shit! The closure is the best I’ve gotten out of an anime series ever! Koga and Ayame cracked me the shit up! And also kudos to the Naraku send off a tip of the hat to his humanity!
Inu’s facial expressions in the whole episode were AMAZING I laughed I cried I was in complete awe!

I will have to say.. I never got to watch the episodes, but last night I said heck with it I’m skipping to the end to see this kiss… so for the first time in a long time — I skimmed episodes to get to the good stuff.. and I’m glad I did it was a very good… love the kiss, love the twins, heck I even loved how Kagome called Sess brother and the look he gave was priceless — well next to Inuyasha’s.. (^_^)
