Just a Fool’s Lullabye…
Isn’t this a great song (the one that’s playing)? My pesky kid brother/erotic hostage (haha), Dangersque, introduced me to it. Her name is Amanda Marshall, a Canadian singer, and she’s one of his faves. The story I’m writing for him, “The Last Exit to Eden” is named after one of her songs. Yes, yes, I suck because I’ve only updated that story twice in more than a calendar year, but it just beats me down. I don’t know why, either, but my mind really draws a blank when I try to write it. However, I’m forcing my way through it; I have to. Even if I shorten the original plot to make it just a few chapters long, he will get his story, dammit! Hell, at this point, I’m concentrating on the giftfics and the rest is really up for grabs.
I’ve had a migraine off and on for the past few days and my allergies/vertigo is kicking into high gear. But I got my hands on some zyrtec today and I’m feeling a bit better. I can probably use more sleep, too, but I’m not in full insomnia mode yet.
I’ve been on facebook a LOT lately, and all because of the games, lol. I’m hopelessly addicted to some, and that really cuts into my desire/time to write. But, meh. You know my philosophy: Who reads this shit anyway? It hardly matters if I update or not unless you’re the person on the receiving end of a gift. Speaking of, I’m going to get an installment of Silence in today along with a short chap for Danga (hey, he said he didn’t mind short). If I’m lucky, I’ll get more done, but I’m not holding my breath.
In celebratory news, the New York Yankees have not only won their division, but they won it before anyone else has clinched theirs. And the best part? They won it by SWEEPING Boston, which stopped the Blo Sux from getting the wild card inside our stadium. Plus, they will have the best record in baseball -not even the Angels will catch them.

It was a beautiful weekend and I hope we continue to hand Boston cushy pads so they can go on their knees to their fucking masters.
Yeah, I hate them that much. Them, and their rude, craptastic fans.
Now, here’s to hoping that they keep their shit together and do well in the playoffs.
In IG-World news, I just okayed the art for Eternal Destiny’s anniversary skin. It’s going to be really cute and I can’t wait for y’all to see it. This time I asked Maria-nee-chan to do it -she did the art on this blog- and she did a splendid job. I’m just waiting on the coloring and we’re all set.
As soon as I think of what I want, Absolution will get a new skin as well, and most likely, so will The Boiler Room. I already have the art for that. I was waiting for the header, but it looks like I’m going to end up making it myself, or asking my web designer to do it. Either way, it should be cute, all things considered.
If you haven’t voted at ED yet, do so. The polls close on 10/13 and we’ve got lots of great fictions to choose from. I actually need to get to work on the banners for it. Yep, I’m doing them this term since Neo is busy, so don’t expect greatness. xD Then, it will be time to vote on the Eternal Legends, so it should be fun all the way around.

Girl, I’m gonna hurt you. For srs. I know I’m not alone in the Ultimate Squee Club that activates when you update a story. I think I activated the local Richter center when you last updated EoS, and don’t even get me started on GFE. On top of “Loved,” “In His Eyes,” and “Love Like Winter,” there is a bevy of gush-worthy tales that make me orgasm every time they hit the top of your recent fic list. And these are no typical orgasms; these could put Liz to shame. So don’t start in with that “nobody cares” shit again, because I’ll flood your review pages so fast, your head will be liable to explode.
Now that all of those threats are out of my system, let me just give you a Selina-style squeeeeeeeeeeze and be off with my cranky self. And expect mail tonight…that won’t be so hostile.

You know good and well I wasn’t talking about you -and you’re not even that big of a fan! I’m talking about the diehard, “I can’t keep my fucking mouth shut” types that always feel a need to comment about the Yankees because we’re on the fucking brain. They’re the only ones that seem to do that shit. When I see Blo Sux stuff, I just roll the eyes and keep going. I don’t have a comment; I don’t care enough. But oh, no. Not them. They can’t resist adding their two worthless cents to everything. I get it ALL the time, and honestly? I’m at a very STFU stage. Keep it to yourself, you know? Because trust, I didn’t fucking ask.
The writing. Well, it’s been okay, not great, and certainly not awesome, lol. I don’t think anyone gives a shit about this stuff but a few, and really? i don’t know if I care that much. I try my best, and most times, no one gives as hit, so why am I bothering when Castle Age is waiting??? LOL. I mean, I’ll update eventually for my own piece of mind and for the few that really care about it (like you), but otherwise, I won’t be killing myself.

I’m a massive Yankee fan -big enough for the both of us, lol.
And *big hugs* I’m sure a few people like to read my fics, but I’m not convinced that it’s “lots” and that’s perfectly cool because times change. I’ve been writing a really long time, and I’m sure people that used to read me have found others to enjoy. Circle of life and all. 😛 And it’s good that they have. I won’t be writing that much longer, so it’s best to start looking at other folks. I really want to finish certain stories, which is why I’m still hanging around the writing pool, but if I ever come to decision that I can’t finish, I’ll just say farewell. It was a nice run.
Zyrtec is a gift from God. Totally. It stops my vertigo and itchy eyes and makes life flowery again! xD

I’ve been sucked into FB games so bad that I’m neglecting all the things I need to take care of like the last CD banners and Destined Award stuff. Then, there are the legends, and I don’t even want to think about the work involved with that. But I have no choice, so I’ll just deal like I always do.
You know, all my life I never had allergies. I started getting them about 2 summers ago and it’s been hell. HELL. I have my zyrtec now, so I’m better, but when I’ve run out it gets pretty darned unpleasant. >.< I should be asleep since it’s 4:37am, but alas, here I am, lol. I really need to get myself in gear. Sigh.

Those fainting goats? I discovered them when the Mythbusters were doing internet myths. Love the Mythbusters! They crack me up very time! Tory, Grant and Kari went to investigate the myth of the fainting goats. It was priceless! Tory ‘fainted’ when a goat head butt his jewels.
