My very awesome g-artist, Neo, made a new layout for my main site (Go see!) using the art you see now, which was created by Sarah-Belle, who is just amazing. I came to her with almost no references, just a concept, and based on just my words, she was able to pull this pretty out of her hat and it’s exactly what I wanted. How cool is that? Then Neo, being the guru that she is, came up with my tattoo (makes me wanna get it for real!).

Of course, Absolution will have a layout and that’s where you’ll get to see the full art, and it’s really awesome. I’m so happy with it! <333 I'm working on updates and hope to have a couple for you guys by the weekend. I was feeling a little sick today (due to my new condition) and didn't get much done. But I'm working on it, and as stated before, turning over a new leaf. New site, new artwork, new chapters, and I'm getting rid of the old. I cut a few people off (and still doing so). They're not really friends anymore, so I'm done there. Life is too short and I wanna have my fun, not worry about who's mad at me this time and why, especially when I’m always going out of my way for people. But, what can ya do? Nothing. I just don’t care anymore; too many real life worries, ya know?

Well, if you didn’t know, the LCD screen on my computer went blewy, trapping all of my files and stuff on that computer. NIGHTMARE does not begin to cover it because it happened at 9pm on New Year’s Eve. Just hours before I was supposed to do Eternal Destiny’s goodie bags and anniversary stuff. I was fucking DISTRAUGHT, because while I have 2 more computers, that was the one I used the most and it had all of my files on it. >.< With the help of Kau and Amber, I was able to still get everything done on time, but I spent a harrowing 4 days with no access to any of the stuff on my HD, thus making several things late. >.< But I got lucky. I was able to get a new computer yesterday, and because Macs rock, I was able to connect this one to my old one through firewire and transfer all of my files off there, so I'm back in business. I have all my fic notes now, and all the stuff that's really important (like my 5000 music files :D) and I can get back to doing my thang. But again, harrowing experience. I’m addicted to my computer and the thought of losing it for any reason… *shudders*

So I’ll be taking the old one to the shop (the HD and superdrive work fine, so if I can get the monitor fixed, I’ll have a 4th computer loaded with software) and using this one for the duration. I’ll also stop screwing around and buy an external HD so shit like this can’t phase me if it ever happens again. *prays that it doesn’t happen again*

And I want to give a quick thank you to all of the new people that have been at the site leaving reviews (well, you may have been around all along, but I just didn’t know who you were because you never said anything). It was nice to come back to so many kind words, especially when my mood is all spiked off getting another comp. I definitely plan to start writing soon, so just bear with me while I get situated in my new house. ^_^

I just got some mail letting me know that my other commission is ready. Hot. Damn. This one is for Treasure on the Tide, so if you’ve read that one, can you guess what it will be of? Hehehe…. The pose and setting combined with the art is a guaranteed WIN. I don’t know if I’ll be posting it to the blog, though. It may become a header, but it will definitely post on the fic itself and my gallery, so you can see it there in a few days.

I also put in a new order for The Girlfriend Experience. I know I mentioned some art before, but that didn’t work out, so I went elsewhere. I changed the pose, setting – everything (this one is MUCH hotter) and I’m hoping it looks as awesome as I think it will be. That one won’t be a header (It’s I/K and that’s a rarity on Absolution), but it will post with the fic and at the gallery whenever it’s done.

The icing would be that I saw a super cute I/K pic on Deviant Art and mailed the artist to ask if she’d allow it on ED’s xmas skin. I’ve never done that before; I usually commission (The anniversary art is commissioned and you guys will like it), but she said yes and the skin came out really cute. Very light and whimsical, so check it out on Dec. 1st.

For those that give a shit -the result I was waiting for came back negative, which means hereditary shit is still bad, but not bad enough to affect me! 😀 However, the trick is to make sure it never does by taking better care of myself, which I haven’t really been doing. But seriously, this is such a load off my mind; I really feel like I can LIVE again.

Right now, I’ve been gobbled up by that FB game >.> but I’m ready to pick up my pen again and do a little writing. There are going to be several “short” chapters, really short, as in less than 3000 words. Maybe even 2500, just to get back into the swing of things and find my footing again. Once I’m comfy, they’ll be longer. I especially plan to have short ones for old fics that I want to update because I haven’t messed with them in so long that I really need to ‘find my way back”, but I will. Shit, if I can finish a Sess/Kag that I started 3 years ago and couldn’t finish because I loathe the pairing, I think I can handle a few old I/K stories, ne? Either way, it’s time I treat myself to some closure for a few fics and finally make the announcement about the ones that will never be completed. Sad, but true.

OMG, I’m so fucking ready for this!

I started watching Lost about a year ago. Yep, I haz late to the party. I downloaded all of the older episodes and watched them in order, and let me tell you, I haven’t enjoyed television like that in a LONG fucking time. Now, don’t get me wrong. I love me some Entourage and I can finally say I like True Blood (without wanting to wear a bag over my head. Come on. The first season is awful with way too much bad acting), but Lost is an addiction.

The funny thing is, I never expected to like it. I actually avoided it for the first 3 seasons because it looked hammy. Boy, was I ever wrong. Lost is fucking fantastic and it SUCKS that this is the last season. However, I’m still pretty amped. I’m dying to know how this shit is going to get sewn up now that Miss Thing called herself setting off that bomb in the finale. Plus, I’m totally missing Jack, Kate, and Sawyer! My first love, though, was Boone and he’s the only one I ever made an avatar for. Heh.

Ian Somerhalder is fucking FIRE HOT.

Anyway, I just had to come in here and gush…

I’ve been (and still am) writing a new chapter for one of the fics on the poll list. A hint? It’s not one of the ones in the lead. Sorry! I started it before I put up the poll, so I want to finish. I’m thinking I’ll be done later on today, and the chap will be a whopping 10,000 words, at least. That oughta cut me some slack for taking so long, eh?

Well, the day we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. InuYasha: The Final Act will premiere in Japan and the US (via internet) tomorrow, and I must say that I’m pretty stoked. Why? Because I want to see my baby again, that’s why! I don’t look forward to some things -like that kiss with Kikyou or Kagura’s death- but if we’re lucky, maybe the Viz people will take some liberties and give us that Inu/Kags reunion kiss, or at least a love confession.

Come on -they owe us that much!

But even if we don’t get that, it will be cool just to see Yasha and the crew again, ne? I also hear there will be just 26 episodes, and many are wigging over it. I’m not. Honestly, I don’t want to see all the filler she had in the manga; it’s unnecessary. Show us the most important things and let that be that. And no, that doesn’t make me any less of a diehard fan.

Isn’t this a great song (the one that’s playing)? My pesky kid brother/erotic hostage (haha), Dangersque, introduced me to it. Her name is Amanda Marshall, a Canadian singer, and she’s one of his faves. The story I’m writing for him, “The Last Exit to Eden” is named after one of her songs. Yes, yes, I suck because I’ve only updated that story twice in more than a calendar year, but it just beats me down. I don’t know why, either, but my mind really draws a blank when I try to write it. However, I’m forcing my way through it; I have to. Even if I shorten the original plot to make it just a few chapters long, he will get his story, dammit! Hell, at this point, I’m concentrating on the giftfics and the rest is really up for grabs.

I’ve had a migraine off and on for the past few days and my allergies/vertigo is kicking into high gear. But I got my hands on some zyrtec today and I’m feeling a bit better. I can probably use more sleep, too, but I’m not in full insomnia mode yet.

I’ve been on facebook a LOT lately, and all because of the games, lol. I’m hopelessly addicted to some, and that really cuts into my desire/time to write. But, meh. You know my philosophy: Who reads this shit anyway? It hardly matters if I update or not unless you’re the person on the receiving end of a gift. Speaking of, I’m going to get an installment of Silence in today along with a short chap for Danga (hey, he said he didn’t mind short). If I’m lucky, I’ll get more done, but I’m not holding my breath.

In celebratory news, the New York Yankees have not only won their division, but they won it before anyone else has clinched theirs. And the best part? They won it by SWEEPING Boston, which stopped the Blo Sux from getting the wild card inside our stadium. Plus, they will have the best record in baseball -not even the Angels will catch them.

It was a beautiful weekend and I hope we continue to hand Boston cushy pads so they can go on their knees to their fucking masters.

Yeah, I hate them that much. Them, and their rude, craptastic fans.

Now, here’s to hoping that they keep their shit together and do well in the playoffs.

In IG-World news, I just okayed the art for Eternal Destiny’s anniversary skin. It’s going to be really cute and I can’t wait for y’all to see it. This time I asked Maria-nee-chan to do it -she did the art on this blog- and she did a splendid job. I’m just waiting on the coloring and we’re all set.

As soon as I think of what I want, Absolution will get a new skin as well, and most likely, so will The Boiler Room. I already have the art for that. I was waiting for the header, but it looks like I’m going to end up making it myself, or asking my web designer to do it. Either way, it should be cute, all things considered.

If you haven’t voted at ED yet, do so. The polls close on 10/13 and we’ve got lots of great fictions to choose from. I actually need to get to work on the banners for it. Yep, I’m doing them this term since Neo is busy, so don’t expect greatness. xD Then, it will be time to vote on the Eternal Legends, so it should be fun all the way around.
