Beyond Redemption

Firstly, Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms I know and their mothers as well.

I haven’t touched my blog in a bit, so I figured I’d throw a little something up. As you probably know, I’m trying to write again and have several chapters in the works. Some are flowing a bit more than others, but overall, I’m just fucking blocky (Don’t expect greatness). I’m chipping away at it, though, and managed to get a chapter posted for Age of Innocence. It’s a fluffy, kinda old-fashioned “lub” story, and that may not tickle too many fancies, but I don’t care. I appreciate those who read and review all my works, not just whichever one may produce smut.

TBH, I’m so over writing lemons. I never liked doing them to begin with (regardless of what y’all may have thought), and after not penning a hardcore one in ages, I have to be honest and say I don’t miss it. I’m sick of doing them, and really, you should all be sick of reading them. But, whatever. They’re inevitable in some fics…

Right now, I’m working on the 4th chapter of A.O.I. along with a couple of update requests and a oneshot. I wanted to start some new ones, but I’m going to hold off for a bit until I add a little padding to my other stories (the ones I plan to continue). I’m also considering -and this is not set in stone- reopening Pretty Brown Eyes and trying to lay it to rest properly. It’s near the end, maybe 1-2 chapters left, and since I put it on permanent hiatus,
I’ve gotten quite a few people asking me to think about it. So, I am. It’s not a definite yes, but the door isn’t locked yet.

I had some giftart made for JessieAngel by Rootslove on Deviant Art. It’s an upcoming scene from Pas De Deux, featuring InuYasha and Kagome in the basement studio she gave him in the last posted chapter. She did a nice job on it, Jessie loved it, so it’s a win-win. I have some new headers coming up: One is for Fallen and the other is for Hikari, courtesy of Maria, Mauro, and Neo. You’ll be seeing them soon. And I probably mentioned this, but when Edge of Seventeen gets its final epilogue chapter you’ll see some gorgeous new art for that as well, courtesy of Sarah-Sweet. So get ready for some summer visuals. 😀
