Beyond Redemption

Hey BBs!!

Just a quickie. I’m feeling a lot better. Almost normal. Had some tests done this week and I have an MRI next week to confirm my doc’s suspicions, but otherwise, I’m feeling pretty okay after being nearly crippled for almost a month. It sucked balls, trust me on that! I’m going to be taking it easy (I don’t want a relapse >.>), but yeah, I’m doing okay now. ♡＾▽＾♡

That means I’ll be writing again (Yeah, I know you guys are sick of waiting. Heh.). Not sure when I’ll post, but I’m working on at least one update before I start Fan Month, so make sure you vote in the poll if you haven’t already. I’m tentatively thinking of kicking it off on April 1st, provided I’m still feeling healthy and up to the job. Either way, there will be an announcement when I have a date.

Being ill delayed InuGrrrl [dot] Net v. 5.0 and I never got to post a new skin for you guys on my birthday, so expect both of those in the next few days. After all, there must be an “Absolution InuYasha 2014“, right?? (ﾉ´ヮ´)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

I’ll make this quick. So sorry I wasn’t able to update this weekend. Time got away from me. My friend was re-admitted into the hospital, so it’s just been busy here. But there’s a snowstorm today, which has grounded me, so I’m going to use the time to write. I don’t know if I’ll get enough done to throw up an update today, but I’ll definitely try.

Thanks for sticking around and your continued support! I appreciate the way you guys have been checking out my older stuff for the first time and really enjoying it enough to leave some comment love. It reminds me that I have lovelies waiting to read and that’s a strong motivator. (｡♥‿♥｡)

As soon as things calm down around here, I think I’m going to launch a fan appreciation period. Do you guys remember that? I used to take one month out of the year and update every WIP in my library so that every one of my readers would get to read a new chapter for something they’re following. I’m not sure I can pull off everything in 30 days anymore with carpal tunnel and so many WIPS, but how about I make a poll? I’ll list everything that I’m willing to update and the 5 with the most votes gets FA month. Sound good? (*^▽^*)

And in other news, I just got a glimpse of a WIP commission I ordered for IG 2014 from my Sarah-Belle and wow. I look amazing. (*≧▽≦) Gotta start looking that cool in real life! InuYasha is going to look pretty badass, too. Squee. Saw the WIP for my birthday art as well. It’s coming along cutely. I’m tying out a new artist and he’s a boss, but I have a unique palette with art, so we’ll see how it ultimately turns out.

Alive, and yes, I’m writing. My jumping from fic to fic didn’t help much -heh- but it looks like I will have an update this weekend. For some reason, my hands have been bugging me a lot and I’ve had some pressing things to take care of, and both took away from my writing time. That said, I’m working on getting at least one update out this weekend. It won’t be that long -I think- but bear with it. The plan is to get another one written and posted quickly after, so, yeah. I’m trying. 😛

In other news, my 2014 InuGrrrl art will be ready soon. I’ve asked my darling, Sarah-Belle, to do the honors and I already have the lineart. It. Is. Gorgeous. I also commissioned this completely badass artist at deviantART for my birthday gift to myself, so this ought to be awesome. So excited! ＼(*T▽T*)／

Anyway, I’m going to try and get more penned on this chapter now. Thanks for sticking out the wait times and such. I really do plan to finish as many stories as I can for you guys. (｡’▽’｡)♡

Good News and Bad News.

First, the bad. I’ve been under the weather and my nerves have been bothering me. Nerves are what makes carpal tunnel the hell it is. Don’t know what’s going on, but let’s hope that stops soon because I feel shitty and have a recurring headache.

The good news is that I’m doing some writing today. I’m jumping around with different fics -whatever works- so whichever I can complete first will be updated first. The chapters won’t be very long -like I said- I’m not feeling great lately. But hopefully it will be a little something to whet your palettes until I can get back to form. I really do what to end several fics in the next few months, so here’s to hoping I can do it.

Last, I saw a foreign movie the other day that I’d love to adapt into an IK fic. Not sure if I will, given all my WIPs, but it sure would be cute! Have an IY wallpaper!

I’m having a bad battle of insomnia, so I’m exhausted. It’s been going on for days now and it’s just screwing everything up. I managed to get 1k words written on a chapter, but I need to do more. I also switched directions. I had one title in mind to write for and wound up writing for an entirely different one. Story of my life. But anything is better than nada, right? My hands are bugging me a lot, too, so this is sucksville, personified. However, I’m going to see if I can bang out more literature -haha- today and get something posted soon.

I’m having such a nice week! One of my newest lovelies, Angie (Angie22) was kind enough to draw some fanart for me based on my stories! I’m a sucker for artwork, but giftart??? o((*^▽^*))o What an honor! So go check it out! ^^

I have some work to do for ED, but once that’s done, I’ll work on some updates. I’m hoping I can get the words to cooperate for me again and bang out more than one. （-＾〇＾-）

Working on a new chapter. Just spent last night reviewing the material so I can find my place again. This one is an old favorite (Not an ending), and for whatever reason, it popped into my head. Well, I know the reason. It was inspired by a song on my current playlist at Absolution, and when I hear it, that version of InuYasha and Kagome pops into my head. Maybe you’ll figure out which song it was after the chapter comes out.

Working on the last post of the new year for you guys. I’m at 8k 10k, but still have a ways to go. This will be a long and ‘storied’ one, lol. Wish me luck on finishing before midnight tomorrow!
