My babies are in the city!
And that was their hilarious welcome to NYC and its 9 degree weather! Even funnier is that AJ (The one with the really short hair) goes to Columbia University and will be returning for his semester in about 2 weeks. He gets to endure the rest of the cold winter with us -haha.
My sweetie-boo was hanging out in the city last night with one of the guys from AAA (Remember the first closing song to InuYasha: The Final Act? He’s in the group that sings it. Degrees of separation -lol)

Tomorrow is going to be so much fun. Can’t even wait for this thing! Kevin tweeted this pic yesterday when he reached NYC. Beauty, of course, is in the eye of the beholder. In my case, he’s right up there with InuYasha as far as my conception of beauty is concerned, which says a lot considering that InuYasha can be that lovely because he only exists in ink.
No mandatory makeup. No hairstyling. Just gorgeous Kevin. (´∀｀)♡
Anyway, no writing or anything today. All of my concentration is going into planning tomorrow around this frigid weather. Hopefully, by Friday night, after I’ve stopped spazzing into oblivion, I’ll get back into trying to make some updates happen.

Working on a new chapter. Just spent last night reviewing the material so I can find my place again. This one is an old favorite (Not an ending), and for whatever reason, it popped into my head. Well, I know the reason. It was inspired by a song on my current playlist at Absolution, and when I hear it, that version of InuYasha and Kagome pops into my head. Maybe you’ll figure out which song it was after the chapter comes out.
On another note, I’m going to see UKISS on Thursday.

I usually do a little year end review, but I’m going to bypass that this time (mostly because I wrote 14,000 words in less than two days and my hands hurt) and simply say that I wish all of my people a happy, healthy, prosperous 2014.
Thank you for another year of fun and laughter. I know I didn’t update very much this year, but health, waning interest, and other wack shit got in my way. Next year, I’m going to try hard to get on track and give you guys the endings I promised starting with my final gift of 2013: The completion of The Edge of Seventeen.

Quick update. I’m working on something for my Secret Santa over at dA. I probably shouldn’t have decided to do it. I’m rusty as fuck and out of my element. Every word is like pulling molars. Plus, again, I’m out of my element -writing about Xmas sucks. Writing about a world I didn’t create sucks. So, IMO, my offering sucks. lol. But it’s too late to turn back and maybe this awful kick in the gut is what I need to stop dropping a few lines here and there and actually write enough to post an actual chapter. Really wish I loved writing like I used to; you guys have been waiting for ages and if I don’t twist my arm more, you guys will wait forever. Not a good look. So, I’ll do what I can, as soon as I can. But seriously <.< can’t stress this enough >.> don’t expect anything great. It’s been too long for that.

YUP, your grrrl is going to do everything in her fucking power to go to that show. FTW! There may even be VIP packages. Depending on what’s offered, and what it costs, I may go full monty. I mean, how many times in my life will I see Kevin in person?
