Just what is pulp fiction anyway?!
[noun] Novels written for the mass market, intended to be "a good read,"--often exciting, titillating, thrilling. Historically they have been very popular, but critically sneered at as being of sub-literary quality.
At least, that's what some would like me to believe...
THE HISTORY.
Much of the fiction here dates back to 2005, when I first began to write InuYasha fan-fiction and posted my works to public websites. They generated an obscene amount of hits and reviews for a newbie, and the controversies that followed gave me a nickname that I still hold dear today. Notorious.
In June of 2006, due to the ignorance and idiocy of IY fandom shrews, I erected a home of my own, and with the help of my Chibi-nee-chan, Absolution was born, my private archive.
Lovingly called "Abi", my fiction site is the only place on the web that houses every one of my stories. I have also added an entire network of sites that showcase my writing, fanart gifts, and awards. (See the toolbar above for links.)
But before you go exploring, let me be very clear about a few things...
DO NOT STEAL FROM ME. PERIOD. Be it my fiction, or my commissioned artwork (headers, banners, avatars, gallery images, anything), I WILL BAN YOU FROM EVERY SITE I OWN -AND EVERY SITE I HOST- WITHOUT HESITATION. I don't give a shit what your reasons are; you didn't help me pay for it, you didn't help me write it, and you don't pay for my server, so DO NOT come into my house and trespass.
1) Absolution is a private website. So, no, you can't post your fiction here. The other authors on this site have given me literary gifts and those gifts are the only stories they have posted here. This site will never be open to public uploads. Please don't ask.
2) Writing is my hobby, not my profession. Therefore, if you've come here in search of grammatical perfection, cookie-cutter, canon fluff or strict, "purist" characterization, don't waste my time or yours. As this site states, I write alternate universe fan-fiction and I write the way I want to. You should also know that my early stories are unedited. Peruse at your own risk.
3) Grammar Nazis/Plot Police/Arsonists -You're not welcome here. I never request "con-crit", nor am I interested in hearing negative "spew" about my fiction. You're here to enjoy the stories posted at this site, not tell me what was "wrong" with them. If that's too hard of a concept for you, keep this in mind: One flame, one iota of disrespect toward myself, my readers, or my guest authors will result in a ban of ALL things InuGrrrl. I can, and will, show you the door.
4) That said, I appreciate positive reviews and I always try to respond to them. They encourage me to continue writing and give me an opportunity to interact with my readers. So if you've been shy about leaving your "mark", don't be. There's no fence between myself and my lovelies.

The hanyou eyed one piece of fabric, and then the other, before looking back at her. "Oh, these? I'm gonna tie you up, Kagome."
[Complete.] He promised his brother that he would keep her safe... He never thought he would fall in love.
[Complete.] Her Husband. His child. Can the perfect marriage survive the ultimate betrayal? Sometimes the greatest gifts are the ones you never wanted...
[Complete.] "Hell no it's not a demon," the hanyou hissed, his eye beginning to twitch. "It's a girl," he sniffed again for confirmation, "and she's hurt."
New Year, New Fiction, and New Skins!
If you're new to my website, welcome! I'm happy you came. And if this has been your haunt for a while, glad to see that you're still with me!
As I said at the start of this bulletin, 2010 is the year of new. There will be many stories closing, either by completion, or by permanent hiatus. But never fear, there are, and will be, several new stories as well such as "The Neighbor" and "With Honor". Also, tales that haven't seen updates/attention in a long while will be getting a shot in the arm as well.
And to go with new fics, there will be new skins. The latest ones, "Heavenly" and "Crimson Angel" celebrate my story, "Hikari" and feature the winged beauty, InuYasha Emmanuel, created by my nee-chan, Maria. The outstanding header design on the skin "Crimson Angel" was created by the awesome, Neo, my very talented and much loved graphic designer. And the ride isn't over yet! There's more custom art and headers to come, because y'all know me; the house stays pretty. Always. 0.~
