So, yeah, I saw UKISS on Thursday and it was one of the best experiences of my life. They’re -quite literally- beautiful in person. Even members that I loved, but weren’t looking at like that, turned out to be complete head-turners. Like Eli and AJ. Pictures don’t really show you how completely handsome they are. Wow.
They were also very sweet, very cheerful and oh so happy to see us. And they got press in major news outlets like the Today Show, Good Morning America, and the NY Post. It seems that everyone finds AJ’s Cinderella story of dropping out of middle school to become an idol, and then busting his ass for a GED and making it into an Ivy League school (Our own Columbia University) at the rip old age of 22 an inspiring thing (because it is!). So, my babies have gotten much love here. Even my Kevin got a write up on ABC News in California.
I anticipate more trips to America in their future. (✿◠‿◠)

I think 2014 has started off with a bang!
In other news, I was a bit lazy and spent the weekend checking out movies (I finally saw “You’re Next”. It was actually decent), so not much writing happened. But I plan to get back to it, because for some reason, I actually feel like writing. Gasp. Not sure what will get updated, though, because my inspiration is fluctuating. But any update is a good update for me, right? lol.
This is a taste of what I saw last night. And photos/videos don’t even tell half of it. In person, Kevin is the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life.
Needless to say, I’ll be a UKISS fan for the better part of forever.
And that was their hilarious welcome to NYC and its 9 degree weather! Even funnier is that AJ (The one with the really short hair) goes to Columbia University and will be returning for his semester in about 2 weeks. He gets to endure the rest of the cold winter with us -haha.
My sweetie-boo was hanging out in the city last night with one of the guys from AAA (Remember the first closing song to InuYasha: The Final Act? He’s in the group that sings it. Degrees of separation -lol)

Tomorrow is going to be so much fun. Can’t even wait for this thing! Kevin tweeted this pic yesterday when he reached NYC. Beauty, of course, is in the eye of the beholder. In my case, he’s right up there with InuYasha as far as my conception of beauty is concerned, which says a lot considering that InuYasha can be that lovely because he only exists in ink.

Anyway, no writing or anything today. All of my concentration is going into planning tomorrow around this frigid weather. Hopefully, by Friday night, after I’ve stopped spazzing into oblivion, I’ll get back into trying to make some updates happen.
Working on a new chapter. Just spent last night reviewing the material so I can find my place again. This one is an old favorite (Not an ending), and for whatever reason, it popped into my head. Well, I know the reason. It was inspired by a song on my current playlist at Absolution, and when I hear it, that version of InuYasha and Kagome pops into my head. Maybe you’ll figure out which song it was after the chapter comes out.
On another note, I’m going to see UKISS on Thursday.

And guess what? (Not that y’all care about such things) UKISS is doing an American Tour and NYC is confirmed for January 9th. YUP, your grrrl is going to do everything in her fucking power to go to that show. FTW! There may even be VIP packages. Depending on what’s offered, and what it costs, I may go full monty. I mean, how many times in my life will I see Kevin in person?

Got a new computer chair, thanks to my Kau. It’s huge and fluffy and awesome, but I’m realizing just how short I really am since -if I sit back completely- my feet won’t touch the floor. ._.
I have some things to do today, but I’m going to try and get some writing in. I have no idea why, but plot points have been floating in my head for the last day or two, so I’m going to try and put them to use. I’m super rusty. Like, super, so don’t get all distressed if the updates aren’t great. I feel very much PAST fanfiction. I’m only here for you now, for real. I’ve said that before, but I think, if it wasn’t for the reviews that have been coming in lately, reminding me of how much you guys enjoy my stuff, I would never comeback. This hiatus would be permanent. Real talk. So, thanks are in order to everyone who continually takes a minute to show me some love on my work, especially the stuff you’ve already read. Having your fiction be good enough for a re-read is a great compliment for me. ♥ ♥ ♥

And in other news, UKISS has a new album and video (I already have both). My boys look yummy (Though I’m not loving those high pants and bright shoes >.>). Kevin is gorgeous, as always, and I’m loving that Rolls Royce with the suicide doors! It’s been a hard few months for my boys. The youngest member (called a “maknae”), Dongho, left the group 2 weeks ago after a lot of absences and negotiations with the managers and everyone is taking the news hard. He said he wanted a normal life and ended all of his celebrity commitments, but the boys -and the fans- are hoping he’ll change his mind (doubtful). However, the show must go on and they came out swinging. This is a UKISS no one has seen before and I’m loving it! ೖ(σ̑˽σ̑)ೖ

In fanfiction news, sorry, guys, but I haven’t been writing at all. I just haven’t felt like it, and when I do, the spurts of inspiration have been fading before I can even put pen to paper. I feel bad; you’ve been waiting a long time for the next wave and it hasn’t come. I hope this doesn’t last. I’m okay with not writing anymore. I’m probably over it completely, but I’m not okay with completely disappointing you guys. That’s why I’m hoping that the drought ends soon and I can get back to entertaining the lovelies. Sigh.
And it looks fucking badass. This is probably one of the sexiest, most devious looking InuYashas I’ve had done in a while. Well, the “Neighbor” Yasha you haven’t seen yet is just as tight, but this… holyshitfuckingWOW. I love the way she brings my concepts to life. She just keeps at it until I’m happy with every detail and I’m so grateful, because I swear, if it wasn’t for my commissions, I would barely have the inspiration to finish a chapter. So, hoorah for whip-ass artists!
