FA MONTH IS FINALLY, FINALLY OFFICIALLY OVER!

So, first, I’m totally sorry that MPR decided to be a bitch and give me major headaches. It completely jacked FA Month by about 2 fucking weeks. >.< But hey, you got the rest, right? So we'll just sweep this lil incident under the rug... Did you like the art? It's a simplistic concept (I had a more complicated one, but it couldn't be done without major headaches) that went with the theme of the fiction, but Sarah's art style is delicious. I hate to say it, but I fell in love with Sesshomaru in that art (not that Yash and Miroku aren’t gorgeous, too, but she can really draw her some Sessie!). Hope you enjoyed the eye candy!

Now that it’s over, and I’ve updated the ones with the most votes, I’m pretty free to update whatever strikes me next. I do have a set of stories that I really want to update (mentioned a few posts back), but I don’t want another MPR nightmare. I want to update whatever comes to me, so that list may go out the window. I also have a couple of new fictions that I want to start, so yeah, chaotic. Plus, MPR hurt my hands again. ARGH.

I’m going to try to update once a week -if I’m lucky- and twice a week -if life loves me. How’s that? If I’m inspired (and my hands allow me) to do more, you know I will. I want to finish these damn stories already. Plus, I have another fandom I’m interested in writing for, but I don’t want to get too deep into that when I have so much IY hanging over my head. You’re probably thinking, “Awww, shit. She’s dumping IY, too. All of my favorite authors are seriously jumping ship!”

I’ll be honest and say, “I don’t know.” I still love InuYasha, but I don’t know how much I’m still inspired to write for him. That’s a big reason why I’m being a stickler with reviews. If people love the stories and the work I do, show it, or it becomes exceptionally easy for me to immerse myself in other things that can quickly become passions and then you really won’t see any more updates from me. So, whether I continue to entertain you really depends on just how much you guys show that you’d like me to.

And speaking of reviews…

Now that MPR is up, Absolution is going into lockdown with no forewarning. It could be today, it could be a week from now. It all depends, so if you don’t have an account, but would like one –with the condition that you become an active reviewer– follow the directions on the site.

Do’s and don’ts?

DO introduce yourself properly when you e-mail and follow the directions on how to contact me at the site. I’m going to start deleting requests from those who can’t follow directions.

DO realize that receiving and keeping an account is dependent upon your ability to review. You’re not being asked to review every chapter, but if I only see your name once in a while, you’re getting kicked.

DON’T send me incomplete requests. Read the format carefully and thoroughly. As mentioned above, I’m going to start deleting requests that didn’t follow those simple rules.

DON’T be afraid to make the request in the first place. I don’t bite, and if you don’t ask, you will be locked out, so why not give it a shot? (U-KISS fans are a plus… XD)

In other news, as mentioned, I got my new art for The Neighbor and I really like it! It was done by Fanasy and I’m really loving her style! I have several arts from her already and can tell that I’ll be getting a few more. 😀 I love visual pretties! I have a few other stories on my list, but rest assured that I won’t be taking too long to update that one again. It’s half-over, so I don’t want it to drag out any longer than it already has. *crosses fingers for inspiration*

As y’all know, Absolution is going private. The member list has been made available along with instructions on how to complete registration for access. Those who are not on the list will also get a page of instructions they can choose to (or not) follow to request an account.

The site will lock by mid-March (probably sooner), so don’t dally too long getting set up.

I Feel Loved! xD

This was a super-fucking-awesome birthday. It really was and I didn’t even do much today. I spent a good deal of the day with Kau online and thanking all the awesome people who remembered and acknowledged my day. What an honor! So, thank you guys so much. I really appreciate it! <333 I also got some really GREAT gifts and I was so surprised and happy!! Shall I share? Yeah, I think I will! 😛 My kau sent me a goodie box from Louisiana that contained caramel monkey bread, white chocolate truffles, tons of candy, a set of Hello Kitty figurines from Japan, TWO Daryl action figures (from The Walking Dead), TWO Kevin Woo videos (SQUEE!), and some cute and funny art. However, the art is private and I won't be displaying it anywhere. That's why she's my best Kau -she rocks!! My awesome sister, Neo, had a Human -canon- InuYasha commissioned for me and it's so cute! The artist did really well, especially with the background. She also made me a bunch of Kevin graphics and I FUCKING LOVE THEM! WAAAAAH!!!!ONEONE! My totally BEAST little sister, Am, got me an iTunes GC and made me a killer wallpaper of guess who?! KEVIN WOO -INUYASHA- ZERO KIRYUU!!!!!! \o/ To say I screamed and bounced around like a child is an understatement. Those are the 3 guys I love the most, so I’m pretty damn stoked! She knows my passion!!

The sweet and talented, Cati-Art, Blackorchid2007, and InuKagomeluvrs, and Moniquiu all made me these GORGEOUS Human InuYasha piccies that I just ADORE!! All three are just too cute and sexy. WAAAH! Love them!

My wonderfully talented nee-chan gave me the gift of coloring my Knife of Romance lineart that Sarah created, and oh yeeeeeeeeah. You guys are gonna like what you see! *slurp*

Over at Deviant Art, aside from the giftart, I got some cake badges, llamas, and a bunch of birthday well wishes from my buds and watchers. Same at Facebook -and it was really nice to be remembered.

As a gift to myself, I got a dozen cupcakes from my favorite bakery on EARTH. Wanna check ’em out? This’ll do you no good if you don’t live in New York City, though. 😛 Sugar Sweet Sunshine . Their pistachio cupcakes are to DIE for. *drool*

I also got U-KISS’ latest CD (you’re hearing one of the new songs now), which was one of the best gifts ever! I even learned all the Japanese lyrics to “Forbidden Love” -my favorite U-KISS song to date! <3 And last, but not least, I finally treated myself to an iPod Touch. I had a classic all this time and never really considered switching since it works perfectly. But I changed my mind and it's an awesome little device. But again, this is Apple. Of course it's awesome! xD Mhmm. The day was pretty fucking awesome. \(^o^)/ I'll be posting all my gifts to the gallery tomorrow because I’m just too damn tired to do it tonight. right now except for the personal u-kiss graphics that Neo made for me. And big, heartfelt thanks to everyone who remembered me today! I shan’t forget you when it counts! o.~

And yes, there will be writing this weekend. And when it’s ready to post, you’ll be treated to a new, sexy skin that I know you guys will love! Then, there will be another skin after that! I may also work on Knife of Romance early and treat you to that art, too! 😀

The annual birthday fic isn’t happening, folks. Not unless I get an 11th hour idea. I just haven’t been inspired to write my usual smut. Kinda blows since it’s tradition, but what can I say? MPR probably won’t be done today, either. I’ve had quite a bit to do the last 2 days and it broke into my writing time. Otherwise, I might have pulled something together by now. I still may work on it today since it’s raining and my travel plans look like they might be blown, but no promises.

The member list will become accessible by Sunday, I think. But the site won’t be locked right away. You’ll have time to get your passwords, request membership if you must, review (so that you can possibly make the list) and all that sorta thing. But there are instructions for doing all that, so visit Absolution to get them. Unless you don’t give a shit -then you can ignore everything I just said and, well, it’s been a slice. I’m loving on the new U-KISS album >.> and can’t believe I’ve become such a fangirl in a matter of months. This whole thing started with me hearing a J-pop song on a manga site I was visiting (Kat Tun’s D-Motion). I loved it, hunted it down, then started listening to a couple of groups. At that same site, I heard a K-pop song, “No More Perfume on You“, adored that, then hunted that down and became a big Teen Top fan.

A short time later, I started hunting down top 100 lists on YT (To hear new songs) and heard so much great K-pop music…. That’s when I discovered U-Kiss’ “Neverland” and loved it so much I think I listened to it everyday for a month (Okay, way more than a month >.>). But I ignored all their other stuff.

I’m just not sure how I started to like Kevin. He was just such a doll in the Neverland video (He does guyliner like no other boy I’ve seen in my life. Beautiful!). But I loved hearing him sing and watching him dance, so I started researching U–Kiss, listening to their older works (and loving them), falling hard for their newer works, and here we are. Massive U-KISS fan! xD When I’m in a mood, all I have to do is hear Kevin sing and dance to my favorites and I’m happy as all get out. It also helps a lot that he’s American born and speaks perfect English. *fangirls a lil more*

Ah, the power of music. I’ve always been a slave to it, write my best works to it, and having pretty Kevin around is just the foam on my latte.

And that was my completely random story of the day… How about some Kevin?!

Can one of you give him to me for my birthday tomorrow? Pwetty pwease? I promise not to break him too much…

Let me make this clear.

My updates usually take a while, and as a result, some people have chosen to stop reading them or wait until they’re completed to read them. That’s their choice (and if they’re waiting for completion, well, I sincerely hope they make the member list when Absolution goes private or they’ll never read the endings) and I’m fine with either one.

But if my updates take too long and you’re pissed off about that, keep it to yourself because I don’t want to hear it. Those who read this blog have a small idea of what I’m going through in my personal life, but trust me when I say it’s small. I still update for no other reason than to provide entertainment for you guys.

My pleasure for writing IY fic diminished ages ago. I don’t have to update. I don’t owe anyone anything, truth be told. I still do it because I care and I want to provide conclusions for the stories you’ve loved and given your time to.

So when you visit my site and leave a review, do me -and yourself- a favor by minding your fucking manners. Don’t assume that you can complain to me and I’ll apologize to you for it because you’d be sadly mistaken. The only thing you’ll get from me are choice words and an invitation to leave and never return. On my homepage it clearly states “DON’T PISS ME OFF.” Those are words to live by if you intend to stick around. And if you don’t, buh-bye. It’s been a slice.

I always appreciate your kindness and I loved your reactions. So cute. <3 Now, onto important news. Absolution will be going private in March. The member list will become available sometime after my birthday on Friday. That’s when you guys will get to see if your name is posted and contact me for your passwords. If your name is not listed, then either you reviewed under a name I can’t use on the site, or you never reviewed regularly, if at all, and didn’t make the cut. If you are a reviewer and didn’t get on the list, you’ll be given a chance to e-mail me with certain info, and provided it checks out, you’ll be added to the list and all will be well. If you never reviewed, but intend to start and be consistent with it, you can note me and ask for an account. (I don’t bite, so no need to be bashful about it). That is all. Happy Sunday.

This is an update on the reader accounts.

1. Reader accounts can only be issued by me. There won’t be a “register” link available on the site. Names will be taken from reviews, mostly recent ones (as in the last year or so -with a few exceptions), because those are the people who are still regularly visiting the site.

2. Many reviewers have been registered over the weekend with more to come. However, some reviewers will not be registered due to their username, or lack thereof. For example, I get a lot of reviews from “Anon and Anonymous”. I can’t register that to my site; it could be anyone. I have some who only review using a one letter name like “S”, but the site will not allow names that are less than 3 letters. So, if you’ve been doing either one, I advise that you review with a real name or you won’t get in.

3. Reader accounts have a new Terms of Service (on the main toolbar). Familiarize yourselves because they’re important.

4. The member list will go public 1-2 week before the actual locking of the site. That will give people time to collect their passwords from me, or in the case of a reviewer who was forgotten, contact me for registration. I’m doing my best to get the names of all my regulars, but Absolution is almost 6 years old -she’s made a lot of friends! So don’t take offense if you weren’t included; it could just be a simple case of overlooking. However, if you’re a reviewer who has left comments or ratings I wasn’t fond of… heh.

5. Those who find their name on the list have to e-mail me with their e-mail address and username. Then, you’ll get a password you can use to log into the site.

6. Absolution will be locked to the general public, but not locked as a whole. That means, if you’re not a regular reviewer, or you’re new to the site, but are willing to become a regular reviewer, you can inquire about an account.

And yes, every story on my site will be locked (ratings don’t matter). So even if you access the site itself, it will be useless because without an account, you can’t access the fiction.

To those who could never be bothered with reviewing, what can I say? It’s not hard to leave a positive comment on a story you like (Otherwise, why come to my site at all?), but that choice is, and has always been, yours to make. No regrets or apologies from me; I want to write for people that give a shit about what I’m doing and show it.

To everyone else, thanks for the support. I have noticed an upswing in reviews lately, undoubtedly because of the impending reader accounts, but I still appreciate you guys taking a minute to make up for all the times you didn’t review. Either way, it means a lot and they’re appreciated.

I’m still lazing around today, but tomorrow I begin work on the last 2 chapters of Fan Month. Yay! \o/
