Beyond Redemption

So, it’s no secret that I haven’t been writing. I haven’t felt like it. Seriously. Couldn’t find the motivation for the last few weeks, and the past few days I’ve been a bit sick, so I’m just blah and out of it. But today, randomly looking at stuff on Ebay, I saw an InuYasha figure I hadn’t seen before. Needless to say, I wanted it immediately.

Did some research and found out that figurine was from the boxset for season 7 (One of 2 that I didn’t have). You know what I did, ne? I hunted that shit down. See, I have all of the boxsets, save for 7 and 4 (I never got 4 because I couldn’t find the deluxe and I kinda forgot about 7). But today I got lucky. I found 7 and 4, both in deluxe.

My search for InuYasha made me nostolagic, so I read the first volume of the ani-manga (The first three eps will probably always be my favorite) and it reminded me of why I love this character so much then and now. He’ll always be a part of me -an important part.

And in other news, UKISS has a new album and video (I already have both). My boys look yummy (Though I’m not loving those high pants and bright shoes >.>). Kevin is gorgeous, as always, and I’m loving that Rolls Royce with the suicide doors! It’s been a hard few months for my boys. The youngest member (called a “maknae”), Dongho, left the group 2 weeks ago after a lot of absences and negotiations with the managers and everyone is taking the news hard. He said he wanted a normal life and ended all of his celebrity commitments, but the boys -and the fans- are hoping he’ll change his mind (doubtful). However, the show must go on and they came out swinging. This is a UKISS no one has seen before and I’m loving it! ೖ(σ̑˽σ̑)ೖ

In fanfiction news, sorry, guys, but I haven’t been writing at all. I just haven’t felt like it, and when I do, the spurts of inspiration have been fading before I can even put pen to paper. I feel bad; you’ve been waiting a long time for the next wave and it hasn’t come. I hope this doesn’t last. I’m okay with not writing anymore. I’m probably over it completely, but I’m not okay with completely disappointing you guys. That’s why I’m hoping that the drought ends soon and I can get back to entertaining the lovelies. Sigh.

The Placebo concert was absolutely awesome. Hands down. They didn’t just play songs from the new CD (which sounded so great live that I ended up enjoying them), but they played a lot of my faves and I genuinely had a ball. I went with my friend who got us into the seated VIP area, which gave us a great view and allowed us to get some great fancams.

In other news, the very next day, my friend was hospitalized again. He was able to come home on Friday, but chances are that Sunday or Monday he’ll be readmitted. It’s not anything super serious; they want to try new meds on him and would prefer to do so at the hospital so they can see how his body reacts to them before sending him home. It was a surprise, though, and kinda threw things out of wack for me.

My arms are better. I’m taking those supplements that deal with nerves (Carpal and cubital is all nerve pain) and I do see some improvement. I’m hoping in coming weeks the pain dwindles down enough to where it doesn’t hurt daily like it does now.

Anyway, I’ll be writing tonight now that I have a little more mobility (and painkillers). Don’t expect greatness. With so much going on, my mind hasn’t been on the words like it should be, but I’ll see what I can do. 0.~

Just a quickie update for those who still peek in here. I’m in the midst of a carpal/cubital tunnel flare up (Pain from the tops of the shoulders down to the tips of the fingers). I can’t type for extended periods of time (like when I write) without serious pain (pins/needles/burning/aches x50). I’m back in braces, but I can feel myself getting a bit better. Also found some supplements that will help with the nerve pain (that’s what carpal/cubital is). They should be here in a few days, so until then, I’m trying to take it easy. I’m going to start writing today and will post whatever I can come up with. I don’t want to give you anything super short, but it really depends on my hands, so don’t be shocked by a chapter as small as 2k. I can write in short spurts for the time being, so I’m playing it by ear and doing what I can.

To those who have been at the site, re-reading and leaving kind reviews for me -thank you so much! It’s been a real source of motivation. For all of you guys who have been nudging me toward writing originals and getting published, well, you may finally get what you want. However, it may come at a price. Still thinking about it, but your faith in me is much appreciated.

Been sick for a couple of days, made worse by today’s visit for “Aunt Flo”. Everything sucks at present, and to top it off, I only like 1, maybe 2, songs from Placebo’s new album. That means when I see them on the 15th, I’ll be stuck with most of them -like the Depeche Mode concert. SIGH. Hope you can stand some mega short chapters for a bit, if any at all. I feel so fucking out of it. I just want to feel better. ARGH!!!!

Been watching Breaking Bad in the meantime and I’m on Season 4. So many characters annoy me. Wow. Especially Jessie and Skyler. Two nerve-wracking individuals if ever there were!

I just got back the cutest artsie from my Sarah-Belle! Remember Camp Destiny, the oneshot (Though I may add flashfic “adventures” to it down the line) I wrote about the IY “kiddies”? A specific -and very cute- scene happened in that one and Sarah made a little recreation for me. I’ll try and post it with the story in a day or so. It’s super adorbs. ^^

I probably didn’t mention this before, but I hurt my shoulder last week sometime. I don’t even know how. I just woke up one day, and from that day on, my shoulder has been seriously painful with limited movement at the rotator cuff. To top it off, my doctor is on vacation. So, I haven’t been writing much -sorry- but the good news is that I’ve been feeling a bit better (found some exercises on YT that are helping a bit), so I’ll attempt a bit of writing and see how it goes.

In other fun news, I watched Sherlock (the BBC show) and it’s brilliant. I wasn’t too interested in watching it until I finally owned my crush on “Khan” from Star Trek: Into Darkness (Benedict Cumberbatch), but I’m so glad I did. If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and do so. All of the available seasons are on Netflix. It’s rapid-fire, witty, and just fucking fun. If you haven’t seen the newest Star Trek, hurry up and see that, too. I’ve seen it 4 times already and love it a little more each time (Saw the first one in 2009 a whopping 14 times, so yeah. I’m a bit of a trekkie). (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

I just adore Khan to fucking pieces. So much so, it rivaled -and almost surpassed- my love for Zachary Quinto’s Spock (whom I love to no end!). Those green-blue eyes and those lovely cheekbones… (◡ ‿ ◡ ✿)

I also started watching Breaking Bad (finally). I just wasn’t that interested (even though I love the “Malcolm in the Middle” dad), but I finished the first season in 2 days and it’s good. Sad at times, funny at times, but good and it really makes science look cool (Not the drugs and shit, but the other stuff the character shows us along the way). Educational insanity. Ha.

So, anyway, I’ll post an update when I can. Just didn’t want y’all to think I forgot about it. (^_^)b
