This is quite late since it’s after 7pm here, but Happy Memorial Day to our vets and their families. As someone who is PRO military, I appreciate the sacrifices you’ve made for this country and its people (even though many couldn’t care less about what you’ve gone through to ensure the freedoms they take for granted). I hope you all had a great weekend! <3 Now, on a personal note... I'm super excited because I'm going to see Snow White and the Huntsman on Thursday for a midnight screening. \o/ I like Charlize Theron a lot (she is gorgeous), so I really want to see her play the wicked witch. I’m loving her black outfit in this thing (and that milk bath? wah!). Unfortunately, I’ll have to sit through Twilight girl as well, but that’s a small price to pay to see Charlize. I just hate that we ALL know how this thing will end. >.> Oh, and seeing Thor is an added bonus.

Ahem. Anyway, I’m stoked for Thursday! I also did more writing yesterday. I didn’t like it, but Kau loved it (I always give her “advanced screenings”) and she says I’m too hard on myself. Yeah, probably, but I tend to hate struggling. -___- So when I do, I automatically don’t like the results because it didn’t come easily to me. *grumble* But I’m gonna stop caring about that because I need to write something or I never will.

I say that a lot, but it’s true. I’m at a point now where I can go days upon days without even thinking about writing. NOT GOOD. So I’m forcing myself to write a little bit everyday, even if it’s a few lines, ya know? Believe me, it would be all too easy to never lift my pen again because I have no interest in it anymore, but I made a promise to my loyal lovelies, so for you, I’m going to keep trying until if it kills me.

Speaking of writing! I must give monster thanks to everyone who has left such kind reviews for me over the last few weeks. Especially those who’ve been rereading the “classics” and reminding me of how much fun this used to be for me. I so appreciated that. You have no idea… <3 In all honesty, I miss how much I loved InuYasha and writing his stories. He'll always be a part of who I am because he let me "spread my wings", so to speak. That's why I can't just let his "pulp-fiction" go without proper send offs. I just hope it's something I can accomplish before all the words disappear. Okay, enough depressing shit! Your Grrrl is turning 7 on June 16th, so I'll expect my lovelies to pop by the site that day to see the celebratory skin and say what's up because it will be Absolution's 6th birthday as well. Who knows, I may even be giving a few literary gifts to those who have waited so long... ^____^

OMG, THE NEW EP IS IN MY POSSESSION AND I’M HAVING A BLAST. \(^_^\)

DoraDora isn’t as fast-paced as I expected (we only got to hear clips). But I do like the song and the album has a few more songs than I expected, but it’s still a mini album.

One of the highlights of the album is the new Korean version of Tick Tack called Tick Tock (Out of Time). It sounds so different, yet awesome. The words have been changed, and my beloved Kevin’s parts are all different, but I really like it! *dances*

Shall I give you guys a listen?

Working on a lil something for someone, so I must skidaddle if I hope to finish today. But I had to squee about my Kevin for a moment.

In three days the new mini album, DoraDora, comes out and I’m stoked. Saw the video teaser on YouTube and just bounced all over the place. Few things make me really happy anymore and U-KISS is definitely one of them.

In the meantime, the track playing is called “Amazing”, just released a day or two ago (I hear that one of the members, AJ, wrote it). It didn’t grab me straight off, but after putting it on repeat for a bit, it definitely grew on me. Kevin’s is the strongest voice in the chorus, so that hooked me first, of course, and now I love it. I adore his singing voice -very distinctive and pretty. So your Grrrl is a happy camper right now. <3 DoraDora, however, was gold as soon as I heard the sound bites. LOVE IT and I'm loving the little dance they're doing for it. Here is a lil peek:

I Feel Loved! xD

This was a super-fucking-awesome birthday. It really was and I didn’t even do much today. I spent a good deal of the day with Kau online and thanking all the awesome people who remembered and acknowledged my day. What an honor! So, thank you guys so much. I really appreciate it! <333 I also got some really GREAT gifts and I was so surprised and happy!! Shall I share? Yeah, I think I will! 😛 My kau sent me a goodie box from Louisiana that contained caramel monkey bread, white chocolate truffles, tons of candy, a set of Hello Kitty figurines from Japan, TWO Daryl action figures (from The Walking Dead), TWO Kevin Woo videos (SQUEE!), and some cute and funny art. However, the art is private and I won't be displaying it anywhere. That's why she's my best Kau -she rocks!! My awesome sister, Neo, had a Human -canon- InuYasha commissioned for me and it's so cute! The artist did really well, especially with the background. She also made me a bunch of Kevin graphics and I FUCKING LOVE THEM! WAAAAAH!!!!ONEONE! My totally BEAST little sister, Am, got me an iTunes GC and made me a killer wallpaper of guess who?! KEVIN WOO -INUYASHA- ZERO KIRYUU!!!!!! \o/ To say I screamed and bounced around like a child is an understatement. Those are the 3 guys I love the most, so I’m pretty damn stoked! She knows my passion!!

The sweet and talented, Cati-Art, Blackorchid2007, and InuKagomeluvrs, and Moniquiu all made me these GORGEOUS Human InuYasha piccies that I just ADORE!! All three are just too cute and sexy. WAAAH! Love them!

My wonderfully talented nee-chan gave me the gift of coloring my Knife of Romance lineart that Sarah created, and oh yeeeeeeeeah. You guys are gonna like what you see! *slurp*

Over at Deviant Art, aside from the giftart, I got some cake badges, llamas, and a bunch of birthday well wishes from my buds and watchers. Same at Facebook -and it was really nice to be remembered.

As a gift to myself, I got a dozen cupcakes from my favorite bakery on EARTH. Wanna check ’em out? This’ll do you no good if you don’t live in New York City, though. 😛 Sugar Sweet Sunshine . Their pistachio cupcakes are to DIE for. *drool*

I also got U-KISS’ latest CD (you’re hearing one of the new songs now), which was one of the best gifts ever! I even learned all the Japanese lyrics to “Forbidden Love” -my favorite U-KISS song to date! <3 And last, but not least, I finally treated myself to an iPod Touch. I had a classic all this time and never really considered switching since it works perfectly. But I changed my mind and it's an awesome little device. But again, this is Apple. Of course it's awesome! xD Mhmm. The day was pretty fucking awesome. \(^o^)/ I'll be posting all my gifts to the gallery tomorrow because I’m just too damn tired to do it tonight. right now except for the personal u-kiss graphics that Neo made for me. And big, heartfelt thanks to everyone who remembered me today! I shan’t forget you when it counts! o.~

And yes, there will be writing this weekend. And when it’s ready to post, you’ll be treated to a new, sexy skin that I know you guys will love! Then, there will be another skin after that! I may also work on Knife of Romance early and treat you to that art, too! 😀

The annual birthday fic isn’t happening, folks. Not unless I get an 11th hour idea. I just haven’t been inspired to write my usual smut. Kinda blows since it’s tradition, but what can I say? MPR probably won’t be done today, either. I’ve had quite a bit to do the last 2 days and it broke into my writing time. Otherwise, I might have pulled something together by now. I still may work on it today since it’s raining and my travel plans look like they might be blown, but no promises.

The member list will become accessible by Sunday, I think. But the site won’t be locked right away. You’ll have time to get your passwords, request membership if you must, review (so that you can possibly make the list) and all that sorta thing. But there are instructions for doing all that, so visit Absolution to get them. Unless you don’t give a shit -then you can ignore everything I just said and, well, it’s been a slice. I’m loving on the new U-KISS album >.> and can’t believe I’ve become such a fangirl in a matter of months. This whole thing started with me hearing a J-pop song on a manga site I was visiting (Kat Tun’s D-Motion). I loved it, hunted it down, then started listening to a couple of groups. At that same site, I heard a K-pop song, “No More Perfume on You“, adored that, then hunted that down and became a big Teen Top fan.

A short time later, I started hunting down top 100 lists on YT (To hear new songs) and heard so much great K-pop music…. That’s when I discovered U-Kiss’ “Neverland” and loved it so much I think I listened to it everyday for a month (Okay, way more than a month >.>). But I ignored all their other stuff.

I’m just not sure how I started to like Kevin. He was just such a doll in the Neverland video (He does guyliner like no other boy I’ve seen in my life. Beautiful!). But I loved hearing him sing and watching him dance, so I started researching U–Kiss, listening to their older works (and loving them), falling hard for their newer works, and here we are. Massive U-KISS fan! xD When I’m in a mood, all I have to do is hear Kevin sing and dance to my favorites and I’m happy as all get out. It also helps a lot that he’s American born and speaks perfect English. *fangirls a lil more*

Ah, the power of music. I’ve always been a slave to it, write my best works to it, and having pretty Kevin around is just the foam on my latte.

And that was my completely random story of the day… How about some Kevin?!

I’m trying to get MPR written, but I admit, I’m not really feeling it. The story is complicated, as y’all know, with a lot of stories going on at once. It’s a pain, to say the least. It will probably be mega short whenever it does finally get written. I’m trying to have it finished by Thursday because Friday is my birthday and y’all know I’m not writing SHIT that day! 😛 So keep your fingers crossed, because if not Thursday, you probably won’t see that update until Monday.

I also admit that I’m seriously distracted by U-KISS these days and that contributes to my lack of “get up and update”. I’m totally happy to spend all my free time ogling Kevin Woo and watching him dance on video. Hell, even Kau knows I’m obsessed at this point! She’s making me a Kevin birthday video! It’s nothing fancy. Just a montage set to my favorite U-KISS song (at the moment), but I love it because it’s two of my favorite things all rolled into one! She rocks! 😛
